Our oysters are so wonderful – they actually inspired us to open an Oyster Bar in Bath! Come and enjoy them for yourself and join our fan club! We receive deliveries daily from the morning’s catch in Devon and Cornwall. Our aim is simple, to give you the freshest, most delicious seafood experience imaginable.

Whether it’s one-off specials from the day’s landings, or our gourmet twist on traditional English fish and chips with champagne batter that will take your fancy, our exceptional menu has something really special for everyone.

The influence from our Italian roots brings you wonderful pasta dishes and for something truly unique you must try our signature ‘Italian Sashimi platter’, prepared using The West Country’s finest raw fish and seafood.

Very nice looking restaurant, service was decent but the food was very bland and expecting the seafood dishes to be be full of flavour. Not worth the amount of money spent. Very disappointed

Excellent experience staff SUPERB, Food was EXCELLENT with a good choice at reasonable prices. Wine a bit expensive but good choices Definitely will go again A1++++

I’d heard some good things about Portofino but was really disappointed with the cooking and the service. I ordered a basket of bread that arrived at least 10 minutes after the starters and when it did, it was garlic bread instead ! The food generally lacked seasoning

Hi Gary, Sorry to hear about your experience with us. Your bread arriving late was a mistake on our part as staff were busy but of course we removed it from the bill. However, we do not serve garlic bread so this couldn't have been the case. Our staff were told your table enjoyed your food and your time here. You all seemed to leave very happy, especially the birthday girl! We enjoyed having you with us and if you ever feel like returning we hope we can make it up to you. Best, Portofino

Absolutely delicious food and wine! The monkfish pasta and vermentino were fabulous! The torta della nona was lovely. Staff were very attentive and the service was quick. Such a lovely laid back atmosphere.

The problem is the mobil network cannot be connected in the restaurant. There is no Wifi support.

Sorry to say the mussels were absolutely tasteless along with the juice. The Lobster risotto, sadly couldn’t find any lobster.
