It was a very pleasant evening on the patio, but the food was average at best. The setting is great, weather permitting, but there are other restaurants with better food.

The restaurant environment is so beautiful and inviting. The food and beverage options are DELICIOUS! Portico’s service is top notch.

I love coming to Portico. The food and the service are always excellent. Shout out to Jordan, our server. He was very accommodating, considering how busy the restaurant was. My only complaint is the noise level. By the end of dinner, I was hoarse from talking loudly to my friends. We all had different choices for dinner and all were delicious!

It is one of the finest eating establishments in Richmond. The food is great, the service unbeatable and the ambiance is something to behold. Whereas some of the bigger restaurants have good food most do not have a comfortable noise level. You can actually talk across the table without having to yell or ask “What did you say?”. Make your reservations well ahead of time. It is well worth it.

The food is phenomenal, excellent service, just fantastic. Portico is definitely on the favorite list. The fried artichokes were unlike anything I’ve had before, so good. My boyfriend had the meatballs for an app and said they were really good, I’m vegetarian so didn’t try them. He had pizza for dinner and I had gnocchi, both delicious but I do have to say I like a good vodka sauce over tomato sauce so will have to try the penne pasta next time. We had key lime gelato and semifreddo, so so good.

As always, a great experience. We sat outside, and I still think it’s the best patio/outdoor eating in Richmond.
