Porthminster Kitchen serves up a refreshing, playful take on Cornish cuisine, introducing a menu of smaller plates and lighter options which combine global flavours, fresh local ingredients and creative cooking.

We have stripped out much of what is unnecessary; dairy and gluten take a backseat in favour of fresh and exciting textures and flavours.

Porthminster Kitchen enjoys awe-inspiring panoramic views from its location in the heart of St Ives. From your vantage point above the harbour, escape the hustle and bustle and relax on our sun-drenched terrace, or gaze out from huge windows and take in the 180° view.
We are dog friendly but have limited space for our furry friends please let us know when booking to avoid disappointment.

Another great visit to the Kitchen, all dishes were on point with very friendly service and excellent wine to wash it all down.

This is one of the go to places if you are in st ives. The food was excellent and the service perfect. We had the day boat catch of the day plaice and it was cooked perfectly with a fantastic creamy fish sauce and mussels. There is views over the beautiful harbour as well. What more could you want!

Seafood linguine was lovely! Nice atmosphere but closed very early. We would have stayed for more drinks but we didn’t know we had to leave. Service was great, small place made it feel cosy and romantic

Welcomed as we walked through the door, shown straight to the table, with an amazing backdrop to St Ives harbour and beyond. Lovely staff, didn’t feel rushed at ordering and not at all disappointed with all plates ( starters, mains & deserts) Look forward to returning soon.

I have visited many times , and it never disappoints . The staff are exceptional and the food magnificent. There is also stunning view from the restaurant.. Highly recommended 🌟

Have eaten here a lot and always choose it as a place to bring friends. Food excellent both presentation and taste as well as friendly efficient service. We will be back !!

We had the wonderful vegetarian roast dinner on Sunday. So much lovely vegetables and the Pithiver was delicious. If we’re in the area again definitely come again.
