Porthminster Cafe in St Ives is a multi award winning seafood restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The café specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine and is an oasis of taste and visual beauty.

This was our second visit to the Porthminster Beach cafe. The food is delicious and we were seated on the terrace with a magnificent view. The service is excellent.

Too many tables, waiters continually squeezing past through small spaces between chairs. Also a wet dog smell, from a wet dog at the next table.

Friendly service, highly recommend for a meal overlooking the beautiful beach at Porthminster. Innovative dishes using seasonal, local produce. Great touch with the postcard !

Staff were great, location is stunning. Sadly trying to hard with the food. A chip should be a chip not resemble hash brown sticks. Turbot on the specials was rubbery as if it had been cooked sous vide so didn’t have a great texture.

A beautiful restaurant, the staff are all so attentive & friendly. We all had amazing meals, the fish is always incredible. Pineapple mojitos were a real treat, you won’t regret a visit here.

Outstanding food and exceptional service in a stunning location. If you love great food then this should be the place for you. The Skate main course would make my top 10 list of meals anywhere and we have dined in many top restaurants worldwide.

Doesn’t quite have some of the special lovely touches it used to have like warm bread whilst waiting etc… but still very nice

We had a delicious meal yesterday evening. The food was hot and beautifully presented and the service was very good. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony on a hot evening, The reason for the middle of the road comment regarding the ambience was simply because there was a rather large parry of diners sitting behind us who, because of the group size, were rather loud.
