Nestled beneath the steep slopes of Porthminster Point, right on the beach with unbeatable and uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Now open all year round for coffee, lunch and dinner.
Porthminster Cafe in St Ives is a multi award winning seafood restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The café specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine and is an oasis of taste and visual beauty.
A Holiday in St Ives would not be complete without going to the beach. Here at Porthminster Beach we have one of the cleanest beaches in the South West. We have been given the prestigious Blue Flag Award which guarantees the highest of standards.

    We’re exceptionally accommodating for my daughter’s nut allergy. Despite having nuts on the menu, the couldn’t have done more to make us feel reassured she could eat safely. Lovely staff.

    Lovely food, although I didn’t enjoy the veg curry as much this time. My husband’s fish and chips was excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly. They asked us if we were celebrating anything and duly iced ‘happy birthday’ on our plates. They even moved us to a quieter part when a table became available which was good of them. There was a large group of mixed ages who were having a great time but obviously the noise level could get a bit lively at times.

    Food great, service slow, took ages to order and get drinks. Lots of staff seem to wonder around and not notice when people are trying to get their attention.

    We always try to eat here at least once when visiting St Ives. On this trip the food was exceptional as usual. I had the skate, mrs G had the sea bass, bothe lovely. Prices have gone up quite a bit, and I think they’ve squeezed a couple of extra tables in, which made the place seem a little crowded. Overall great food and service, will definitely return.
