Porthminster Cafe in St Ives is a multi award winning seafood restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The café specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine and is an oasis of taste and visual beauty.

The set menu is varied for most diets and the price is incredibly reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and if you book far enough ahead you should be able to get a window seat. A lovely experience especially for special occasions.

Porthminster Cafe is one of our all time favourites, and very special. The best views, ambiance, food, wines and service. We love coming here!

A great birthday lunch for my wife. The view was spectacular. Can’t think of a better place to have lunch in Britain.

Great ambience, loved chef bringing his dishes to our table.Fish curry was amazing . Lovely evening, expensive but probably worth it.

Porthminster beach cafe - was exceptional as always. The staff are friendly and professional. The food is outstanding. The location is wonderful. Had a fantastic meal, bought my disabled daughter with us - the staff were excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Firstly, I love this place. This was not my first visit, but my first for Sunday roast. I had high expectations. The roast beef was generous, lean and pink. Lots of veg. But, I was surprised that while it looked good, it lacked flavour. Gravy was thin and bland, cauliflower cheese looked right but no taste. With glass of wine, service etc, it's an expensive lunch albeit with a great view. IMHO I'll return for other meals but not a roast. There are plenty other establishments in St Ives and beyond who are doing it better.

Fabulous food as always and all the waiting staff did a wonderful job and were warm and welcoming. The ‘Muzak’ was simply dreadful and overwhelming. I want to talk to my partner not try to compete with the extra noise.

We had a fantastic lunch here today. Our table overlooked the beach and the whole experience was wonderful. The food was outstanding.
