    As a professional chef myself, the price of the steaks need to be a bit more attention to detail, just putting them on a plate with some fries and a bit of dressed salad leaves doesn’t really show care when paying £32 for a ribeye. Having to wait half an hour to order our food as well I wouldn’t call that quality service and we have to get the attention of the waitress as well instead of her coming over to us. My friend found a hair in her food as well which again isn’t acceptable for the standard you are trying to portray. Overall I felt a bit deflated from my experience, I didn’t feel the love and passion that should be put into someone’s dining experience.

    Beautiful roast dinner on a sunday, with fantastic service from Lili (?). Borderline outrageously large portion size. Recommended!

    Good service and great food. Went after my daughter’s graduation and none of us found any fault with the food or service. Not cheap but worth it

    Had a lovely meal at Porters Steakhouse, Noel was super kind and helpful! The atmosphere was lovely - would definitely recommend.

    We were very pleased that we chose Porters Steakhouse to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. The décor was welcoming, the staff enthusiastic and efficient. Our food was on time, cooked to perfection and the cocktails were spot on. We were even presented with a Happy Anniversary desert compliments of the restaurant. Price was good value for money for very well cooked/presented food. All in all we would recommend Porters.

    Food was quite tasty. Roasted chicken was excellent. Salad was exceptional however fish cakes were lackluster. Very noisy bar with staff tossing glass bottles into the bin unaware of how disturbing the crashing noise was to diners nearby. There was no consistency as to which exact waitstaff was assigned to our table. Within the first 15 minutes we had 5 different people perform 5 different tasks. None with coordinated efforts. Ordering a bottle of champagne was unforgettable with the bartender stating “we don’t have that one and haven’t had it for a long time; I don’t know why they haven’t taken it off the menu”. That does not reflect well at any place of business. Overall the food was quite good but the service requires much more polishing before I would ever want to return.
