For the price of the food you would think that you would be get a fabulous meal but what you got was a salad served to you on plastic plates, that took forever to come to you. Not to mention after you placed your drink order your wait staff forgot about you and never came back for literally 40 minutes. When they returned with your drinks at that time, they poured them; while spilling them on the table, never telling management nor removing them from the bill just keeping them on it while giving you a partial drink while charging you the full price. Next, you finally after an hour get served mediocre food that is either undercooked or overcooked. And last but not least, given a piece of complimentary cake for a celebratory birthday which was nice of them but it was stale and sickening sweet. The only thing fresh on it was the whip cream. Over all a very disappointing meal and we will not be back sorry to say.

I had made reservations here several weeks in advance of our event - my husband’s birthday. We have eaten here several times before and always had good food and good service. Reservations were on a Wednesday at 6pm. We arrived early and were able to be seated right away. We tried a new appetizer - pan seared Cajun walleye fingers. They were soggy and flavorless and there was no Cajun seasoning at all. We had 1 and told our server we did not like them and why and she asked if we had ever had them before and we said no. She said well that’s how chef makes them but she will let him know. She came back and said they were taken off the bill. My husband ordered the seabass with a baked potato. I ordered the petite filet (medium rare plus - never heard of this but the server recommended) and a baked potato. Our baked potatoes were barely warm when they arrived. The sauce on the seabass was cloyingly sweet, raw red onion in the fruit salsa was horrible, seabass itself was excellent. Beef fillet was rare, with an entire sinew section. Horrible! Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience and we will not be going back to this restaurant.

What to say? It's Porterhouse. They never disappoint, being open 5 hours a day let's them really concentrate on details, employees don't burn out like other establishments. Everything they do, they do well. You will truly enjoy your experience.
