We went to the restaurant with high hopes. The service was outstanding and I might try the place one more time. The food looked perfectly cooked and presented, however, everything was slightly under seasoned with the exception of the shrimp, which the saffron seemed to over power of mute the brine-like qualities of the dish. The steaks were fine but not memorable. The pasta, crab cake and potatoes were standouts. I think I would have to try the place before I recommend the restaurant to a friend.

Loved everything about this place! Chill ambiance, friendly, attentive and helpful staff. But the food, OMG! EVERYTHING we had was amazing! We started with the crab cakes and the Thai quinoa salad. The crab cake was perfection! The Thai salad was good, but I wished I had ordered the crab cake. For dinner we had the Chilean sea bass and the filet mignon. The sea bass was really good, quite flavorful, but the steak was beyond amazing! Cooked medium rare to perfection and honestly, did not need the bordelaise sauce that accompanied it. I will definitely be returning.

Was disappointed that the bass was not what I remember it being like. The tomato marmalade was not as great as I expected. Service was a little slow for the restaurant being slow. Never got our mashed potatoes that we ordered with our meal. Had to tell the waiter about our missing item. Overall. A bit disappointing for a meal.I was looking forward to.

We went because of the DineLA restaurant week special dinner tasting menu. Arrived at 6:00 and it was very lively! Not a big dining area so with a couple large parties the noise level was loud! And there was live music, too! The Old Fashioned and the Smoky Hollow were the perfect cocktails to start! From the special menu offering we selected the colossal shrimp cocktail and the crab bisque to start. We also order the dinner rolls…5 rolls piping hot! Three large shrimp made for a sizable starter. The crab bisque had a nice kick to it. For main course we had the filet mignon and the sea bass. The filet came with mashed potatoes and two spears of asparagus. The sea bass was a nice size piece of fish but only had a tomato topping and an arugula sauce under it. Would have been nice to have an actual vegetable on the plate. We shared the asparagus and potatoes. The filet was very good…sizeable and cooked perfectly.there were three dessert options so we each ordered one and tried all three. The bread pudding was warm with ice cream…delicious! The 100 Grand bar was very rich and more chocolate than I cared for. The Salted caramel butterscotch pot de crème was very tasty!! Overall it was a nice dinner…but a little loud to have a conversation…wasn’t expecting it to be that loud. The value of the special menus was good…a la carte may have been a bit pricey. The music was great but hard to hear at times…she sang very well and we liked the music selection.

Our server Marie was phenomenal and we enjoyed every second of our dining experience. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides we shared were delicious. This is by far our most favorite steakhouse in the South Bay. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Wanted to love this place. It’s beautiful and the ambiance is just about perfect. Unfortunately the food was just not very good.

If you are near the LAX for a layover or next day flight, head to downtown El Segundo and hit this spot. It’s super close and a really good steak. The staff is awesome. What a nice surprise to find something so good close to LAX.
