Awfull rush service. I reserved a table at the Open Table last time slot. My advise: never do that at this place. I do not understand why they accept the reservation at 9PM if as soon as you seat, they tell you that kitchen is closing.!! The waiter besides bringing and pouring the wrong and same water for all guests, some ordered still some ordered sparking, brought also american coffee instead the decaf expresso that was ordered. Trying to pay at the end and every waiter desapears. Never again

Server pushed food out to quickly. We thought we were on a conveyor belt. There was no room between appetizer coming out very quickly and main course. I wanted to order more wine but felt rushed through the entire meal. I mentioned the experience to staff on my way out.

I love this restaurant and have been going for 17 years. Last Saturday night for the first time EVER, we received dismal service. Our waiter bumbled at ever turn including delivering the wrong dessert order to my son for his birthday!!! What a failure.

Just felt like another steakhouse without any real character. The service was okay. The food was okay. The meat was okay. But okay it is not good enough in a world where at these high prices - only excellence will do .. Pity.

Had the lunch special at Porter House with 2 friends. Everything was great. Such a lovely setting. Service was outstanding. 2 courses for$39.00. We chose a starter and entree each. Enjoyed our lunches and shared a slice of delicious chocolate cake to celebrate a birthday.

We were entertaining guests from Japan & Australia and chose this based on ratings and view. Unfortunately we could only reserve a couple days ahead, so ended up at a table with no view. But the food was terrific and the service was top notch. I’m still a bit shocked by the prices. Didn’t really realize ahead of time how expensive it would be.

Waiting staff great besides front end Asked to be seated next to window...request not honored when many tables near window still not occupied until done with our meal Food disappointed, just simply no taste. Expected Peter Lugar level but not even close.
