This a restaurant in a very touristy place, and so has a touristy atmosphere. The service is impersonal. The menu is better than is expected in a touristy restaurant and the food is actually well prepared. Good wine list. Would we be back? No especially since there are so many restaurants of this type in town.

If I could give a 10 out of 5 for service, I would. Wait staff was very efficient, observant, friendly, and in constant motion. It seemed like they all helped each other. Food was excellent. I had grilled scallop plate with green pea risotto and asparagus and my husband had clam chowder and lobster ravioli. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in 2 weeks of travel. Bread was complimentary. I had a delicious Mai tai also.

We had an excellent meal at Portages Bella. The staff was attentive and the food was really good. They are kind of known for their Pasta Carbonara which was excellent. My husband had jumbo lobster ravioli and he said they were big and very good.

Enjoyed everything about PortaBella. Server offered opinions and suggestions when asked . Beet salad was outstanding- Sand Dabs and Bolognese with pappardelle noodles was delicious. Wish we lived here so we could try other dishes

Wonderful location and each of the rooms, including the front outdoor patio, are different from each other but warm and welcoming. Lovely staff with easy and not rushed service. Menu a manageable size with something for everyone.

Love the ambiance of the outdoor patio. Service was great and the food was delicious! So accommodating to our dog who also enjoyed her selection from the dog menu.

I made a reservation and offered to sit at the worst table for 2 people on the patio. When I walked in, the host was seating 2 people at that table, but when he was going to seat me, he saw the table was empty, so he tried to seat us at this table. I requested another table out of the high traffic area. He seemed annoyed but seated me at a table for 3 people. The service was terrible. The sun was right in our eyes, and we asked for an umbrella, and they said they didn't have any when I saw them remove one from another area and put it away. No smile, no interaction at all other than can I take your order. The saving grace is that the food was amazing, but the service was poor at best. We are on the fence as to whether we will give it another chance.

We had the very best 2 top table outside on patio. Food was amazing! The vibe was romantic but yet able to enjoy the locals and tourists walking by. Highly recommend!
