Porta Rosa is a fantastic experience! Very well done on the reinvention of the prior restaurant. Highly recommend! We ordered the focaccia bread, soup, gnocchi, steak..finished with gelato and flowerless chocolate tort. The focaccia was the best I’ve ever had, get the olive tapenade with it! The steak was cooked perfectly. Soup was excellent, and desserts were great as well…the star of the show was the gnocchi!! My wife and I had just returned from Italy a couple of weeks ago where we actually were taught from a local Italian family how to make authentic home made gnocchi…It was the best we ever had and never did we think we would have gnocchi like that again…until we went to Porta Rosa! Its was nearly identical to the gnocchi made In Italy. The other pleasant surprise was the lemoncello! They make It in house and they were kind enough to make my wife a lemoncello sprits…again It was a taste straight from the amalfi coast. Looking forward to future visits. This place is doing things RIGHT!

This is a lovely new restaurant. Quite pricey but food was good. Not sure when we will return as it is pricey.

Service by wait staff was excellent and friendly. Food took quite awhile to be brought out to us, but was tasty . Ambiance was good but have to substract stars due to the noise level , which was loud and distracting. It was hard to hear the people we were with. I wouldn’t choose it as a date night /special occasion place due to noise level Meals chosen were rather high priced based on portion and type. But it was a visually attractive restaurant

Outstanding all around. On the night we visited there were 2 large tables of very loud(at times) people. I'd imagine that's not the norm, but it was loud. We're planning our next visit and can imagine eating at the bar! This place is a must visit!

Cocktails were amazing & food was phenomenal! The fish tasted fresh like it was caught & flown in that morning. I had the lobster spaghetti & my husband had the halibut. We will definitely be back.

We liked our dining experience at Porta Rossa. The food was excellent. Squash Blossom appetizer was delicious. We loved the beet panzanella salad. My husband got the Linguine & Clams - one of the best he has ever had. I had the Gnocchi, also delicious. My only suggestion would be to offer a greater range of choices for wines by the glass - your small choice of wines by the glass are either $15 or over $30 - nothing in between. I really do not enjoy paying over $30 for a glass of wine! Service was a little slow - seemed like it was a little understaffed for the number of tables. Other than that, we loved it and will definitely be back.
