The Port Campbell Hotel was established in 1897, in the beautiful town of Port Campbell, located on the Great Ocean Road only ten minutes drive from one of Australia's top tourist destinations "The Twelve Apostles".

The PCH has been in the Haig's family for decades, it was leased for thirty years, but William Haig a new generation decided to take over the family business in 2017.

Since then, the PCH has been going through a transformation, focusing on good food, good service and good times.

    Food wasn't great, much like eating at someone's random sub-average home cooking. Nothing refined, just large dishes. I had the lamb shank with couscous, which was actually not real couscous but pasta pearls, so somewhat misleading. My wife had a Chicken leg tandoori with prawns - taste was ok, she's not a big eater but still was hungry afterwards. What we found strange was the food order needed to be done at the restaurant counter, whereas the drinks order is done at the bar counter. Both are self-service, so it's somewhat of a strange experience for a restaurant. The room was cold, and when we asked to change seats to another available table we were refused without any reason - By the time we finished dining, that other table was still available.

    best steak I have had in a very long time. Service was great even though the night was busy.

    Lovely little pub with great decor! Food full of flavour and value for money. Best I’ve had in ages! Highly recommend having a meal there if you’re in the area.
