I have grown accustomed to consistently receiving great food and service at Porch. The staff is friendly, clear-spoken, prompt, and knowledgeable. The food is always good, cooked to time, and expedited to the table efficiently. The atmosphere is clean, attractive, well kept, and the sunlight is plentiful. Based on the above consistency, I always leave the highest tip the machine offers here. You know what to expect with Porch, and I would refer friends. I would definitely be interested in knowing how staff are treated, as I can never give a restaurant a full five out of five without them sharing how they are making a difference for their employees. I do not care how well you treat me if you do not treat your employees just as well. Restaurants should be conscientious of this these days. If you are, you should advertise this somewhere, and I will reevaluate and give you a 5 out of 5. However, do not let this comment hinder a job well done to everyone. I wish you a great day.

Porch is one of my favourite restaurants on 17th. It has a great atmosphere and their service has the perfect touch.

The service was extremely attentive, we started with the garlic and harissa hummus and Moroccan chicken skewers. Both had amazing flavours, cooked perfectly and paired well. Then the lamb chop, WOW!!! Tender, flavourful and so juicy. The mains were not as outstanding as the starters but were still enjoyable. Lobster gnocchi. Spicey, buttery sauce. I feel it lacked flavour. For my liking, I hoped it had a garlic cream sauce. Roasted 1/2 chicken, was so juicy and paired well with the vegetables. However delicious, the mains were definitely overshadowed by the outstanding flavours in the starters. Priced well, serving sizes were perfect. Will be back to have those lamb chops with one of the salads! Thank you to all staff that works so hard to make an enjoyable experience.

Great night out. The server was the best we have had this year. Prices turn out to be more than we expected because it’s more like an a la cart menu. You order each individual thing. But overall, still excellent!

Had a very mixed experience at Porch this weekend. It was my second time there. First experience was lunch - overall positive. Last night for dinner was mixed. We were a large party and were sharing multiple dishes. We ordered in multiple rounds intentionally to spread out the food. I believe it was all rung in at once as it came in a flood and made for a crowded and awkward meal. The drinks were ok. The food was tasty.
