Great service and atmosphere, but food and margaritas were nothing special and overpriced. Expected more with how nice the atmosphere is. Probably won't recommend nor will return.

Husband loved it. I was captured by the appetizers: fresh guacamole and the jalapeño queso. Then the chicken enchiladas suiza were very lemony and texture of the sauces are weird. They seem Lo cal and Lo fat but like they are made with tapioca flour? The churros were under cooked and again felt like tapioca flour?? Not traditional Mexican food. It made me feel full really fast.

Experience will be better with more menu options. Service was nice, but they did not wish a happy birthday, as indicated in the reservation.

Burrito was enormous! Guacamole was super fresh. Loved the Carne Asada Taco Plate.

Food was good price was good restaurant had nice ambiance. Parking could be a hassle if restaurant got busy and visitors to the park. Overall liked experience

I loved Poquitos in Capitol Hill years ago, but the Tacoma location does not compare well. A disappointment was our server who told us that they didn’t have items but only when we asked about them or tried to order them. Another problem is that we informed the server that we did not want cilantro and one of the Moles was heavy with it and it was not in the description. The margaritas were tasty but presented without much style. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Guacamole and chips were great but the rest of the food was very meh. Most of us got tacos of all different types, and every single one of us complained that they were dry and bland. Also menu was pretty weak and boring. Cocktails were underwhelming. This is not the same quality as the Poquitos in Seattle.

Had the burrito and it was very good. The steak tacos were just so so. The meat in the tacos was dry. The salsa not what we expected. When we asked our waiter about the salsa, he even said he didn’t like it either.
