We had another fantastic dinner on the patio at Pomodoro Rosso last night. It's such a neighborhood gem with absolutely delicious food, drinks, desserts as well as amazing service. We were very happy to have one of our favorite servers Goran take care of us again last night....and whether you choose to eat inside or outdoors on the patio there's something truly magical about Pomodoro Rosso's atmosphere coupled with their perfect menu. Great meals are about the quality of food and drinks but it's also about how you feel and the company you share the meal with...and Pomodoro Rosso really understands that idea.

This is my husband’s and my favorite NYC restaurant. No matter what we order, it’s always excellent and they never say no to however we want our food made. The owner, Peter, is a wonderful guy, super friendly, and extremely customer friendly. He trained his staff to be the same. You can’t go wrong here for any occasion.

One entree was much enjoyed but the second, a pasta dish, had tough calamari and very tough broccoli. Overall not up to par.

Pomodoro Rosso is truly one of the best Italian restaurants in all of NYC and definitely one of, if not The Best Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side. Everything here is done perfectly....Starting with the amazing Focaccia bread that they bring out right away with incredible garlic olive oil and fresh black olives, to their appetizers (BEST Muscles in the world perfect for dipping the Focaccia into the broth once you've eaten all the muscles), and their exceptional pastas that you can mix and match if you prefer a specific sauce on their menu but want it with a particular noodle they will easily and deliciously accommodate any request, to the most amazing cocktails, wines and coffees/espressos, as well as their absolutely mouth-watering desserts like the Tiramisu or the cheesecake made with Mascarpone cheese, and finally the wonderful service that always makes an evening there even more perfect. Last night we sat out on the patio and listened to a fabulous Jazz quartet that usually plays Sunday nights in the summer just a few doors down from Pomodoro Rosso which makes a summer dinner outdoors even more magical....But everything begins with amazing food, drinks, service and location and you will absolutely find all of those at Pomodoro Rosso! 5 stars doesn't even begin to properly describe how awesome this restaurant is....You just have to go and experience it for yourself and you will be very happy you did!!!

We are from South Africa and always visit Peter and his team when in New York, well normally several times. The food, service and ambiance is just amazing. And seeing the same staff for the last 16 years tells a lot about the happy environment! Thank you Peter and team for just being wonderful
