Our family first arrived in America from Italy in 1927 by way of Ellis Island. I'm inspired by the traditional approach my Nona took to cooking in our kitchen growing up.

Simple dishes, the absolute best ingredients available, and a lot of love. I hope that comes through in every dish we serve at Pomodori, because is it what my Nona would want.

I love the location and the service was great, but the food was terrible. It was under seasoned and my pasta came floating in a puddle of sour liquid. The veal in the pasta was gray and flavorless and the mushrooms were waterlogged. I ate three bites and decided to just have bread. My friend’s food was also under seasoned. The food at other tables looked better, so maybe it was more what we ordered. I may give it one more chance just out of my desire to support local businesses, but they need to up their quality control on dishes that leave the kitchen.

Food was great. The server was terrible. I would probably try it again as long as I got a different waitress.

Service was slow. Salads were drenched in dressing. Cost was $80 plus tip.

From the time we were seated until our entrees arrived was an hour and 15 minutes. The food itself was nothing special. We won’t be going back.

One negative. We were seated close to the door, and baby it was cold outside. With the door frequently opening the cold draft hitting us was not a good experience. However, the food was outstanding and so was the service. This was our 2nd time there for dinner. We sat at a table away from the door so our experience was much better which is why we returned. My husband and I highly recommend Pomodori -- just make sure you're not close to the door on a cold night.

Great Italian selections including veal options! The feel of the place was comfortable. We will return.

Nice place. Seating was not accommodating. Very noisy. Food was bland. Will definitely give it another try.
