Our family first arrived in America from Italy in 1927 by way of Ellis Island. I'm inspired by the traditional approach my Nona took to cooking in our kitchen growing up.

Simple dishes, the absolute best ingredients available, and a lot of love. I hope that comes through in every dish we serve at Pomodori, because is it what my Nona would want.

My wife & I shared the prosciutto & melon appetizer which was very tasty. We each had the salmon pasta which was delicious. Our Caesar salads were great. We shared the tiramisu which was delicious.

Our waitress was awesome. I felt bad for her because of staff shortage that put the pressure on her. But she handled it well.

When you walk in and are seated and totally ignored for 10 minutes, and other diners walk in and serviced right away, why would you waste your time and money here? I had a pocket full of money, had a hankering for Picatta, and got my girl all dressed up…for what? We went to El Paraiso instead and had a fabulous meal!

Vegetarian gnocchi and Lobster and pasta we recommend. Bar room was a bit noisy, but we were in adjacent room, and with few people there, not noisy at all. attentive waitstaff person. With bread provided and side of either soup or salad substantial and very good.

The food was excellent & atmosphere was lovely. Best food we’ve had in Medford in a long time. We’ll definitely be returning!

We had a miserable experience at Pomodori. This was our first and last time going there. We had a reservation but when we arrived, there were no tables available. We were told that we would need to wait 20 min. When I pushed them, they came up with a high-top table by the bar. I specifically requested a quieter table because my husband and stepdaughter both wear hearing aids. But that was disregarded, same as our reservation. Service was subpar. The server was upset at us and had an attitude. Very unprofessional. Our main course took too long to come out. When we inquired about our dishes, our "friendly" server told us that the kitchen was swamped due to multiple parties at the restaurant. If the restaurant can't manage the load, then don't take reservations. The food was forgettable. Mac and cheese was overrated while the lobster ravioli had no flavor as it wasn't seasoned. Neither the front nor the back of the house executed well. And for some reason they decided it was OK to take it on us. We were supposed to have a nice family dinner and they ruined it.

Pomodori is excellent. We were visiting from out of town and gave it a try. In every way it exceeded expectations. Food is excellent, prices are very reasonable, staff is welcoming and professional. Highly recommend. Next time in Medford, Pomodori is a sure stop!
