Service was excellent. We ordered one of the specials, which if you ask the price ( you should, to avoid surprises) was significantly more than the regular meals ( $52 versus around $35), but in this occasion was worth it: 8 Oz lobster tail and multiple jumbo shrimp over excellent home made linguine in a spicy red sauce. Plenty to take some home. The appetizer of fried calamari and shrimp was a little pedestrian: the calamari were only slightly warm and seemed to be scooped from a pan, but were accented by spicy red and green peppers. The restaurant is BYOB, but also sells some wines. Based on previous visits with reservations, the earlier you arrive the more you will be seated on time ( we avoid weekends), but the experience ( ambience, service and quality of food , plus your own wine) is a good one. I don’t like how the restaurant passes on the credit card charge, but the menu lists this detail in accordance with New Jersey law. We come often, and will return.

Food was decent quality. Food was an hour coming out for entrees. Server Emerson was absolutely top flight. Great. The place was clean and well maintained Friendly Might try again

Not a good experience. Food was very oily and lobster was very chewy, way over done. We only saw our waiter to take our order and to get our check. Would not recommend

The food was well prepared and tasty. Linguine and white clam sauce had a generous portion size. Air conditioning was working well and we enjoyed our time.

Probably the best Italian food in Avalon and Stone Harbor. Only complaint is the loud noise level mostly because of too many happy people in close proximity of each other. Staff and waiters are exceptionally friendly and courteous and do very good and meeting our requested and needs, Highly Recommend !!

Delightful ambiance, great service by Emma, and delicious food. Love the BYOB. Average Caesar salad ($13). Pretty good special beet salad ($19). Delicious Osso Bucco ($51), Veal Fontana ($34), and Penne Vodka ($27). Highly recommend all 3 entrees. Disappointed that such an expensive restaurant feels the need to skim 3.5% from customers who use a credit card. Exactly who is paying these high bills with cash? Just raise your prices and compete that way. Credit card companies charge 1.5 to 3% so they are making money on the surcharge vs a pass through. Other restaurants, like Il Posto don’t do this and are absolutely just as good. And of course they suggest you tip on the surcharge and on tax to the government.
