Polanco Mexican Modern Steak House is a slightly elevated restaurant that will focus on fine dining touches with a lively atmosphere. Polanco features a prime selected list of steaks seared off and seasoned with an eye towards the ranches and cattle farms of northern Mexico. Bar operated by Miguel Valencia who is the head mixologist listing a cocktail selection based on agave varieties such as Mezcal, Ensambles and a unique selection of Tequilas.

I went to Polanco to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our server Alex’s recommendations were all great! The food and drinks were great. Server Alex went out of his way to make us feel like we home by sharing how he prepared the dishes and was always attentive

I love the spot. Barely woke up secret and the food is fantastic. Feels like I’m eating at a true high-end restaurant in Mexico.

Excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. The filets were delicious, lobster enchiladas were wonderful, and guac tasted fresh.

The decor of the restaurant is beautiful! The lobster enchiladas were excellent. My guest enjoyed the 10oz Prime Rib dish served with puree beans, salsa Verde,... and a roasted jalapeno!

So it’s LA and it’s going to be expensive, however the cocktails and food make up for it. Great place. Just don’t judge a book by its cover!

Alex our servers was awsome. And food was really good but service was a little disappointing we reserved a table on patio they didn’t want to sit us there and the host was rude!
