PlumpJack Cafe is widely regarded as Lake Tahoe's premier dining destination. Fine dining and exceptional wines are in our heritage, and we'd love to share our passion with you on your next visit. We offer a complete and unique menu that is sure to satisfy you after a long day in the mountains.
PlumpJack Cafe & Bar hours of operation are Thursday-Monday from 4-9pm. The Bar will be open at 4:00pm for drinks & cocktails, followed by our full dinner menu from 5-9pm. A very nice evening for celebrating our anniversary. Service was outstanding. The scallops were great. My wife found the lamb though tender and well cooked, a bit too peppery for her tase.

Always a pleasure to have dinner at Plumpjack. Standouts this visit were the scallops, steak and amazing service.

Excellent service, the servers were friendly, helpful and informative. We loved the table we sat at and all the food was cooked beautifully and came out at the right time.

We had an excellent dinner at PlumpJack. After years of eating at overpriced and mediocre (at best) restaurants on the lake, we decided to give PlumpJack a try. What it lacks in views of the lake, it more than makes up for in food quality & presentation, service, cocktails and wine. Great for a date night or special occasion. My new go-to in N. Lake Tahoe.

We sat on the outside deck. The weather was perfect and our waiter Garrett and his assistant were fantastic. Our dinner was delicious.

Wait staff was terrific, meal was delicious, outside dinning could have been enhanced. I will definitely be back. Loved staying at the Plumpjack and the service and dinner was the best in the area.

We loved everything at Plumpjack Cafe. The staff were excellent, the atmosphere beautiful, the cocktails inspired and delicious, and food exceptional!

During a heat wave, we expected that we could eat inside with the AC on. Instead we were seated outside and we were sweltering and eaten alive by mosquitos. Even the bar was incredibly hot. How does a high end restaurant not have AC?

We selected a Chardonnay from the extensive wine list. The server brought the correct wine, but commented, "it's not very cold" do you still want it? We asked her to chill on ice in wine chiller before opening. It turned out fine as the Truchard Chardonnay was awesome! Everything we ordered from the kitchen was spot on! Compliments to the Chef!
