When looking into the best restaurants to try in Lancaster in Tik Tok i found Plough and wow, people were not lying! The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL, i'm still thinking about the corn cob jam that came with their bread plate (to die for!) My husband had the pork chop and I had the butchers cut steak, both dishes were delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection and the sweet potatoes that come with the pork were so incredibly seasoned. Our server L was so friendly and answered any questions we had. We'll be back to try their fall menu for sure!

First time here, wife and I came for our anniversary. The food was exceptional! She got the zucchini crab fettuccine, I had the house market cut. It was a center sirloin with corn potatoes and snap peas. Our server L was amazing, they did a fantastic job and even recommended shrimp to add to my meal for a surf and turf. Definitely recommend, hope to make this a regular spot.

First off it was very nice to have dinner in a quiet restaurant. There was a pianist playing appropriate music for the venue. The seating was comfortable and the lighting is cosy. The service was friendly. One thing that happens frequently more often these days, as I have experienced, is that chilli is added to food to enhance warmth/flavor, but it is not written on the description of the food. So of the three meals ordered, chilli or pepper or some sort of ingredient that provides heat was added. For people like myself and certain family members we have a very limited tolerance to chilli in food. Therefore, the meal was not as enjoyable as I think it would’ve been without the addition of chilli. I ordered the gnocchi and the flavour was very intense; lemon, salt, chilli and oil. I was only able to eat half meal and as it was the portion was not very big. Another family member had the pork chop and the accompanying sides were very sweet and there was heat again possibly from chilli. Another family member had steak and the vegetables that accompanied it were very oily and salty all in all the food was good but it just needs less oil salts and chilli in my opinion. The food is creative and well prepared but the balance of salt fat acid and heat has to be worked on for me to want to return.

This was our first time here and we immediately felt at home with our server, L. Service was impeccable and we felt at home throughout the entire night. If your visiting.. definitely ask for L!

This was our first time visiting Plough and thought Restaurant Week would be a good time to give them a visit. I love Bronzino and when I saw it was part of the Restaurant Week special, I made that choice. I received what I would describe as a small plate with perhaps a 4 oz fillet. Every time I have ever ordered Bronzino, I was served the whole fish. My entree was significantly smaller than the rest of our party who ordered from their regular menu. I asked the waitress - if I had ordered from the menu, would I have been served the whole fish. She answered that yes - I would have. So, for $2 additional dollars I could have had a real meal. I told the manager that they should be more transparent with these specials. I paid $60 for an inferior meal that was grossly misrepresented. I addition, we waited 45 minutes for our drinks and no one took our order for at least a half hour. We had reservations and were on time. First and last time for us. Now, I'm leery of all Restaurant Week specials!

Excellent meal and service! The ricotta toast was outstanding, as was the brick chicken. Interesting flavor combinations that really shined. Loved it!
