Welcome to PLAYDATE, the trendiest restaurant and bar located in Nashville’s 12 South.

Currently, we’re home to Winter Break, our festive winter pop-up bar and restaurant!

The space is decked out in holiday décor, complete with rentable igloos for cozy gatherings and the cutest little holiday bar you’ll find. Great craft cocktails and a menu that features something for everyone, it’s the perfect spot to celebrate the season in style!

The pop up Christmas bar is so fun! Drinks were delicious. Great spot for the holidays.

Playdate was very festive with lots of decorations and fun cocktails. The music was very loud. Service was slow at the start but got better. Large portions of yummy food.

We had an incredible time with a fabulous server. The food was delicious and they are quick to serve. This is a great little restaurant to visit. 10 out of 10

This bar is highly overrated. The staff was not super friendly, the igloo was freezing, and the food was very unimpressive.

Live Music was turned all the way couldn't even talk to my date. Messed up on our orders, hostess forgot our reservation, cocktails were wrong and server was too busy flirting with the bartender to check on us.

There was a severe lack of service. In an hour and half almost two we got a drink and app. Took 20 minutes to run our cars. There is a poor description of the what reservations are. I reserved outside thinking an igloo… it is mid December no one wants to sit outside with a mediocre heater. Thankfully we got moved inside. Loved the decorations and atmosphere, I hate it was that poor of service.

The holiday decorations were great and the cocktails were fairly good. The food was average and definitely not special to the holiday pop up. They only have 2 igloos to reserve for the holidays so its gets taken fast. It was extremely loud in the house since most everyone is inside and not outside in the cold. Also a bit warm with so many people too.

Drinks took a long time, food was cold.. Did the igloo experience but definitely didn’t give you all the Xmas feels.

Thanks for your feedback! While we’re sorry to hear your experience wasn’t as expected, many of our guests have shared that they’ve really enjoyed the Christmas spirit we’ve created. We do hope you will give us another chance. We now have a fully heated and tented backyard that allows for a fun outdoor atmosphere in the winter!

I love this spot! We were celebrating our anniversary. We needed a fun place to go, not something stuffy and frumpy. There were beautiful Christmas decorations all over the restaurant. It was beautiful and it set the mood for Christmas. The service was wonderful. The food was great. The drinks were awesome. We will be back!
