Play food & wine will make serious food fun and accessible to many types of guests by offering an inspiring menu, legendary service, outstanding values and a culinary home for our guests in which they can spend a variety of occasions.

All of our dishes are modest portions designed to share. This allows guests to sample a few different dishes without having to commit to just one main course as in a traditional restaurant. Our menu changes frequently, respecting product availability and seasonality.

We are committed to working with our many great suppliers to source the best and most flavourful ingredients possible. We use local, sustainable and seasonal products whenever possible, and believe in supporting area farmers as much as we can.

Overall a phenomenal dining experience. Hats off to our server who recommended customizations to the menu offerings for a perfect meal. Sharing plates allowed us to sample a larger selection of menu items all which proved to be delicious and memorable in distinct ways.

Loved this on my visit to Ottawa! Such a welcoming and comfortable space, the food is inventive and SO very delicious (the cauliflower parsnip soup! Wow! Seed crusted lingcod! Tandoori halloumi!), great wine list, and the service was wonderful.

Excellent food, excellent service. Wonderful combination of diverse flavours, textures, and cultures. Cocktails were impressive. Proximity to the restrooms (for our table and a couple others) and small size of the tables making it tricky to share plates were the only downsides, but that’s being very nit picky. 100% Recommend.

Great experience ! I would not returned because chair not confortable! The menu is small . But everything was good except the fries very to much salt.
