The Platea Experience provides guests with a one-of-a-kind take on the classic Prime Steakhouse but delivering them with flavors brought on by the Peruvian influence and quality Marmolejos & Salazar are known for. All our steaks come from the top 1% of the Prime cattles in the USA, some of the very best there is in the world when it comes to marbling, fattiness, and flavor. All our seafood is fresh and comes from independent purveyors, some of them flying in the selective menu items on a daily basis.

This was our next stop on the Miami Spice journey. The restaurant is charming and modern. I liked that the lighting is dim, but the tables were well lit for a pleasurable dining experience. If you’re looking for an alcoholic cocktail, they don’t have any but they serve beer and wine. Our server was pleasant enough. After our orders were taken, she came back to inform us that sides were not included with the Miami spice menu, no big deal. For apps, we ordered the ceviche bowl and the baked oysters (2). Both were really good. I could’ve done with more oysters. For entrees, the Ny strip and the ribeye were a nice medium and the seasoning on the steaks were delicious. For sides, we had the phantom fries and the white chaufa. Both the sides were great. Now for the desserts. We had the Garden! I am not a dessert person, but this dessert was top notch! We took our leftovers home and both the food and the dessert were still amazing. We had a good dining experience here.

Creative appetizers and desserts! Outstanding NY strip & ribeye steaks! Dinner sides (mashed potatoes and the mushrooms) were fabulous (2 for 4 people). Love the ability to have conversations here as the noise levels are civilized!

So nice to have such a consistently good "neighborhood" restaurant. We had not been for about 6 months but last night was about our 7th or 8th visit and all was excellent. The big challenge for me is, I always have the same thing because it's so good and I always look forward to it that I have not ordered anything different. There whole fried snapper is amongst the best in town (and I've had whole fried fish just about everywhere). I have tried several other dishes by tasting amongst others in my party that order differently. Everyone is always very pleased. It's a hidden gem!

The food was delicious as well as the service and beverage Just one suggestion for the chef I was looking for the beautiful desserts that are posted on the web but unfortunately they do not doing it anymore. So it will be great if in my next round I will be able to enjoy it.
