The Platea Experience provides guests with a one-of-a-kind take on the classic Prime Steakhouse but delivering them with flavors brought on by the Peruvian influence and quality Marmolejos & Salazar are known for. All our steaks come from the top 1% of the Prime cattles in the USA, some of the very best there is in the world when it comes to marbling, fattiness, and flavor. All our seafood is fresh and comes from independent purveyors, some of them flying in the selective menu items on a daily basis.

Wonderful service. Waiter was attentive from the moment we sat until we left. Food was delicious and perfect. Will be coming back again for sure.

Great service, exotic selection and flavors, high prices, and high energy/volume music. There are better value options in the area, but overall good experience.

Chris was an excellent waiter, very attentive. All of the staff was very attentive to our needs, I never had to ask for any refills or felt like I waited a significant time for service. Overall great experience and great atmosphere with the live music touch. I would highly recommend.

Another memorable and prefect dining experience to celebrate our anniversary. Excellent service, very kind and accommodating management. Never go wrong with the Tostones, the NY strip and Chilean sea bass, and we also loved our waiter Adan’s recommendation for desert! Can’t wait to visit again!

Our server Luis was very attentive and never missed a beat, especially considering it was prime time on Saturday evening. The Filet Mignon & Grilled Branzino entrees were amazing. We ordered the Pomme Puree, White Chuafa, Mushroom, and Tallarines Verdes sides which were all delicious. We loved the Tallarines Verdes so much that we ordered another to go.

Made a reservation about 3 days before New Years Eve, the day before the reservation they call me to tell me that they made a mistake but that it is now a fixed menu, after asking a few question I had no choice but to take it because there was nothing else available around, when I got there the waiter hands me a regular menu, then tells me I cant order from there, he tells me that kids dont have a menu, then he tells me yes and says that its only lomo (one on the questions I asked when they call me was what will the kids menu have and they said filet mignon) he was kind of rude, then the same thing with the dessert, only offered one, then I asked they had so many tabled eating from the regular menu and no one could give me a straight answer. Longs story short I feel they put me together with the fixed menu, I live less than a mile away and probably will not be going there any more, what a shame because the food and some of the staff were great)

Platea Miami in Pinecrest exceeded all expectations and provided a truly memorable dining experience. From the impeccable service by our server, Adan, to the deliciously curated dishes, everything was top-notch. The appetizers and sides were just as noteworthy. The Tostones had the perfect crispness, and the Fried Ceviche offered a unique twist on a classic, with its fresh and tangy flavors elevated by the crispy preparation. Our table enjoyed a variety of their offerings, and each item was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The New York Strip and Filet Mignon were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The Prime Ribeye was equally impressive, showcasing a balance of seasoning and juiciness that any steak lover would appreciate. The Risotto was creamy and flavorful, while the Fungi + Onions added an earthy, caramelized touch to the meal. The Jasmine Rice was a simple yet flavorful side that tied everything together beautifully. We paired our meals with White Sangria, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, not too tart. Every detail, from the ambiance to the presentation of the dishes, reflected the restaurant's dedication to excellence. Platea Miami is a must-visit for anyone looking for a premium dining experience in Pinecrest. We'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu!

What a find! The food is amazing as is the service. Love the atmosphere too. The only issue is that they don't have a full bar - Beer and Wine only which is a shame.
