Plate Restaurant offers an elevated, vibrant, stylish dining experience. With modern Italian cuisine in an upscale, setting, Plate sets itself apart with handmade pasta, fresh handmade bread and a 100% scratch kitchen. Created by Restaurateur Christian Joseph in 2014, the first iteration of Plate was destroyed in a fire. Reopening in 2019 at a new location, its bigger and better than ever! With an emphasis on the guest experience and hospitality, any evening you spend at Plate is sure to be special. Christian was mentored by Restaurateur Valter Nassi from Monte San Savino, Italy. Christian's grandfather Constantino Lucido immigrated from Frosinone, Italy to New York in 1948. Christian is passionate about Italian culture, food, and wine. His passion shines through in providing a dining experience unlike any other in the area.

The good is always fantastic and last night was no exception. But, we did have some issues. My husband ordered a soda water, which he never received, but was charged for. Then I ordered a scoop of gelato to put on the chocolate cake and was charged $9. Finally, when finishing my glass of wine, there was a large piece of the foil, from the bottle, in my glass. Our server didn’t seem to think that was a big deal. Small things that put a damper on the experience. When spending $200 on a meal, I have higher expectations.

Staff was very responsive and helpful. Food was well prepared and delicious. Drinks were presented well and tasty. Restaurant was beautiful and cozy made our dinner feel intimate. It was excellent evening and I’m look forward to coming back.

My partner and I had a delightful experience at Plate. The service was impeccable; our server Bridget was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. The food was exceptional. We started with the bruschetta, which was a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. I had the Bolognese, and it was wonderfully rich with just the right amount of seasoning. My partner had their featured special with consistent of spaghetti noodles and a delicate white sauce. Their wine selection is vast and there is something for everyone including myself who typically leans towards beer. Again, Bridget provided great insight on the types of wine and I found something that I enjoyed. Plate was a 5 star experience and definitely a spot we will be taking friends and family when they visit.

The bartender/server was excellent and took care of us but also gave us space. It was my friend‘s first time and she can’t wait to go back.

The food and the service was good. But it was overpriced. one of the dishes was a personal pizza. We would not order it again because it was mostly crust. The other drawback was the parking garage. Very narrow spaces between large concrete posts.

Plate offers a great happy hour selection. Many different drink and food options. Fun to order multiple items and share with the table. Sat outside and love their outdoor seating area!
