You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.

The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.

A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. The only thing you’ll find in our freezer will be ice cream.

We are delighted to announce our Wine Tasting & Tapas Event on Wednesday 17th July at 6.30pm (2hrs). You'll embark on a delightful journey through the rich and diverse world of Mediterranean cuisine and wines. Designed to be both educational and enjoyable, perfect for both seasoned wine aficionados and curious beginners. You'll have the opportunity to taste a variety of wines, carefully selected to showcase the unique flavours and characteristics of different Mediterranean wine regions. From robust reds to crisp whites, each wine will be paired with delectable tapas, enhancing and complementing the wines profile. Our wine educator, Virgilio Gennaro will walk you through the art of wine tasting, explaining what makes each wine special.

Another superb meal at plate at no. 6! The food is fantastic and quite reasonably priced, particularly given the quality. A lovely menu, good drinks, comfortable seating and friendly and attentive staff. I would highly recommend it and we will certainly be going back again ourselves!

The food, service and ambiance at Plate at No. 6 are fantastic. From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed by the waiter (a South African guy I think?). His wine recommendation and tapas recommendations were great. The food was superb - we had the Taramasalata with bread, chicken win olive oil, chorizo in red wine, Mediterranean veg, and the incredible Patatas Bravas (the best we’ve had). All round and incredible dining experience after a great day out in Windsor - we would highly recommend!

Lovely little venue in the centre of Windsor. Fantastic staff all the way from the beautiful waitress’s to the chefs who served up amazing plates. The food was absolutely delicious and great value, will definitely dine there again.

Great alternative to Pub fare in Windsor (and the UK in general). Most portions suitable for a group of four. I still don't know why Tapas portions cannot be sized to the group...three people, three pieces, four, you get the drift. Spanish Meatballs to die for.
