You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.

The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.

A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. The only thing you’ll find in our freezer will be ice cream.

We are delighted to announce our Wine Tasting & Tapas Event on Wednesday 17th July at 6.30pm (2hrs). You'll embark on a delightful journey through the rich and diverse world of Mediterranean cuisine and wines. Designed to be both educational and enjoyable, perfect for both seasoned wine aficionados and curious beginners. You'll have the opportunity to taste a variety of wines, carefully selected to showcase the unique flavours and characteristics of different Mediterranean wine regions. From robust reds to crisp whites, each wine will be paired with delectable tapas, enhancing and complementing the wines profile. Our wine educator, Virgilio Gennaro will walk you through the art of wine tasting, explaining what makes each wine special.

A small and friendly tapas restaurant in the heart of Windsor. Nice location to sit on the cobbles when the weather allows, quaff something cold and enjoy the generous small plates on offer. Perfect if coming to or from the castle, but locals should take a look too as it fills a niche well in the area. Cheers!

Perfect from start to finish, the sea bass was my favourite. Lovely restaurant felt very romantic all food was definitely a 10/10 staff we all so friendly

Came to plate at no 6 to celebrate my husbands first Father’s Day. Staff were very welcoming and the food was lovely, especially loved the steak with pesto and the sea bass. Was a bit disappointed we were not offered the free bottle of house wine as advertised when booking in the website however did see a couple of other tables receive it as we were finishing.
