Planta was opened with the purpose of creating delicious food that promotes environmental sustainability. Under Chef David Lee, Planta aimed at filling a void in the market of upscale, full service, plant-based dining options. The restaurant's vision is to celebrate innovative cuisine in a beautiful environment without the use of any animal products. There’s more to responsible plant-based eating than just taking animals off the plate and our commitment to using high-quality products from ethical suppliers provides the foundation for our chefs to be proud of the food they serve.

Visited with vegan family. Some very good food among the best vegan food I have had. Very noisy. I wish restaurants would put a lot more effort into this issue.

The vegan menu was great, the portions are large and they have a good bar, with fast service. Favorite drink, Lychee Please.

My low rating is purely because of the maître d at this restaurant. We reached the restaurant 10 minutes prior to our reservation of 5 to request them to make it 6. The reason we had to do that was because Planta hasn’t allowed OpenTable to take reservation of more than 5 people (the restaurant does that through Resy). The maître d said that it’s possible and we should be fine if we wait. We waited for 25 minutes past our reservation time (mind you we are already there for 35 mins now) to be seated because she was searching for a table. And when we walked into the main seating space, we could see that their biggest tables for seating 6-8 were all empty. Literally no one was seated in any of these 4-5 big tables, which thoroughly disappointed me. The service otherwise was great and the food as well. But hate that maître D for making us wait so long when we had come for an important meeting.

My husband and I have been to Planta Queen at least a dozen times and we love it so much that we have taken family and friends with us. The food is always amazing. Every single dish is so flavourful. Nick is the most AMAZING server we've ever had in all the times we've been there. Can't wait to go back!

Went to planta for maki Monday and it was great! Great value for the food! Food came out as it was made so it was always fresh. Would go again!

Udon is unreal. The rest of the food was tasty and impressive as well. Paid 100 dollars for 2 with 2 sushis, 2 apps and one main. Will definitely be back!

We loved this place. We came from out of town and wanted to try something unique. We aren’t vegan The bang bang broccoli was the best appy I’ve ever had. The tar tar was also incredible. The atmosphere was great and service was also great. It felt like fine dining. We had such a fun time. The cocktails were also amazing. I had one with tequila that was a bit spicy. It was so amazing. My husband tried the sake one. It was fun bc it came in a car cup but he like the taste of mine much better
