PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson, New York, is a seafood restaurant that also doubles as a fresh fish market to the local community. Diners who come in for a meal enjoy the cozy, casual atmosphere, perfect for digging into a plate of oysters on the half shell. There is something for everyone with a menu including seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken and pasta. Enjoy a meal under our heaters on the outside deck during the warmer seasons. Full bar available and a great place to catch your favorite sports games. Dogs are permitted on the outside deck. We are family friendly, so make sure to stop in after your visit to Rocketship Park which is located just across our parking lot.
We additionally serve Sushi Wednesday - Sunday.

    Little flavor, not a helpful manager to staff or patrons. Waiters and waitresses definitely supported.

    Lobster dinners were good… priced daily but not inexpensive…crab cakes were very disappointing… would not order them… they were sent back

    We had delicious cold lobster rolls. The service was wonderful too. We plan to go back soon!

    Drinks came to the table and 10 minutes after our appetizer showed up and were watered down as if they sat on the bar for a while. Had to ask for a highchair 3x before my husband went into the dining room to look for one himself. Salads showed up after we were already done with our entree. Steak was raw in the middle. Seafood, however, was fresh and well cooked. Would give this restaurant a second chance, they may have just been having an off night. We sat on the patio and it was nice and breezy.

    Very disappointing. The baked clams were mostly breadcrumbs & sparse clams. My stuffed flounder was overdone & the stuffing was cold. Both orders of fish in the fish & chips were very small portions. Not worth my $100

    The scampi sauce was way too salty and the jumbo shrimps weren't everything else was very good

    Excellent food and service was unmatched. The ice cream sundae with sparkler to celebrate our anniversary was over the top

    Food and drink were great and very reasonable prices. Service was a little slow as it took a long time for a waitress to come over to us and a table seated after us was waited on before us. After that everything was great. We will be back :)
