PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson, New York, is a seafood restaurant that also doubles as a fresh fish market to the local community. Diners who come in for a meal enjoy the cozy, casual atmosphere, perfect for digging into a plate of oysters on the half shell. There is something for everyone with a menu including seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken and pasta. Enjoy a meal under our heaters on the outside deck during the warmer seasons. Full bar available and a great place to catch your favorite sports games. Dogs are permitted on the outside deck. We are family friendly, so make sure to stop in after your visit to Rocketship Park which is located just across our parking lot.
We additionally serve Sushi Wednesday - Sunday.

Our main entrance is in the rear parking lots directly across from Rocketship Park. There is free parking available in the Barnum Parking lot on Barnum Avenue, or metered parking in the municipal lots. We also have an entrance on Main Street through the Harbor Square Mall Entrance.

Over cooked lobster at a lobster house????? Two of four meals excelled, two disappointing, tasteless pasta dish and overcooked lobsters.

Great place for seafood. Suggest not getting option with multiple fish (mixd grill) but stick to one choice. The tuna raw was spectacular.

Our experience was the same as always when we done here. We have never been disappointed by anything (not the service or the food). Our waitress was fantastic, always with a smile and she listened carefully to all our requests. Once again, the best restaurant in the area!!!

The food was delicious, the service was great and the value was good. My only problem was the slowing a dog to sit at the bar. I get that people are allowed service dogs, but this dog did not act like one. It was making noises and I chose to take the rest of meal home to eat in peace. This is not the restaurant’s fault it’s people taking advantage of rules meant to help the disabled.

Always a great time and dining experience. The food is excellent and the staff does a great job. Prices are reasonable for seafood and we will come back again for sure

Food was great! Service very friendly and ournserver was knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Restricted dining time allocations are very off-putting.
