P.J. Clarke's at Tioga Downs Casino Resort is a little taste of the big apple with an upstate, New York small town charm combined with a Resort full of fun. Although the restaurant is fairly new at Tioga Downs Casino Resort, the name P.J. Clarke's is a legend in New York. So in the original P.J. Clarke's words we're serving up "Fresh food, frosty drinks and good, old-fashioned conversation." P.J. Clarke's is know for their delicious burgers, such as our Cadillac Burger (double smoked country bacon, onion, American cheese, and bread & butter pickle) but we are not your average burger joint. I’ve been here several times now and I’ve always been hit or miss as far as the food, tonight it was a miss . The tots were good but I ordered a caprese flatbread and it was undercooked and not at all crisp, then my friend ordered a filet well and it was medium rare and had to be sent back . Almost like the orders were rushed but it wasn’t overly busy at the time we went. My mom got the calamari which she said was ok and my friend had the onion soup which I find is always good

I had a very nice burger with fries and a side salad,and my wife a huge bowl of clam chowder which she liked. Surprise. Wine was on sale for 3 $ a glass. Using our dining credits and points(which we’re not accumulated a lot)bill was 5$. So much better than eating in coasters bar for a few dollars more! Better food, and better ambiance for almost the same price

Again another incredible and enjoyable meal. Everything was perfect! I do have to add I don't remember a great glass of wine being $3. Biggest shrimp I've ever eaten!

Our dining experience was enjoyable. The waitress offered a steak knife for the Prime beef I ordered, yet cutting the meat was difficult. When a second steak knife was also ineffective, I used my Camillus titanium knife, which cut through the meat with ease. It might be a good time to consider upgrading your steak knives. Ed

Our experience at P. J. Clarke’s was outstanding. The service was exemplary. Our waitress, Mattison, was friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The food was tremendous. I had the petite filet, and my wife had the prime rib. Both were done perfectly, the way we ordered, and absolutely delicious. The sides were very tasty, and the presentation on all the dishes was very tasteful. The price was definitely in line with what should be expected for a fine dining experience. The only negative, and it was understandable, was that the noise level was a little high, due for the most part by proximity to the bar. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a fine meal at a reasonable price.

For the first half of our dining experience, we were enjoying drinks, food & atmosphere then an extremely intoxicated person was seated next to us and the entire experience changed and was very disappointing.

I ordered the seafood risoto. There was NO cheese in it. The watress was kind enough to hring me some grated cheese (not fresh). For $38 it was very disappointing. My husband orfered the $42 scallops. He was shocked and disappointed when his meal arrived. 4 scallops.

We love PJ Clarke’s! The bartender, Amy, is AMAZING! Our favorites on the menu are the oysters, seafood risotto, filet mignon with Brussel sprouts and garlic fries and the Mac and cheese. Can’t go wrong with any of those!
