From Umbria to the homes of Carefree, Pizzicata brings our family’s recipes and an enthusiasm rooted in sharing Italiano cuisine with Arizona and the world.
We are proud to be the first pinseria in Arizona.

What is Pinsa?
Long before the days of pizza, Pinsa was introduced and crafted by the Romans using wheat, soy and rice flours as the main ingredients in the dough. The resulting Pinsa contained less gluten, less carbs and less fat while maintaining a crispy yet light crust when baked therefore making it more digestible yet still delizioso.

Noah, our server, was excellent! We enjoyed the outdoors. Liked my Lobster Ravioli.

Family restaurant with great staff, food and service. Never knew it was back there. Parking is somewhat limited.

We visited here 1-month before, and Noah served us both times. He is kind and attentive without being a helicopter server. We had such a nice meal the 1st time we had to see if it was a fluke. It wasn’t! None of it! Both times I was in the mood for pasta, but after hearing why the pizza dough is healthier…we went for the pizza the 1st and 2nd time. We have to go back and try the pasta another time. We heard that it will get busy soon, but I’m liking the “slower” pace. The outdoor patio has been a bit too warm to enjoy, and I didn’t see any misters, but the inside dining room is quite cozy. We started by sharing the Pizzicats salad, the 1st time, and then the Farmers Market salad the 2nd, and we loved the FM salad! My husband had the small Hawaiian the 1st time and the meat lovers the 2nd. I had the same both times, and it will be a hard sell to get me to change from the Pizzacata. It’s perfectly crispy, light, salty and sweet. This is a family owned restaurant, and the owners are from Italy. They brought some magic to this area, and I’d love them to move closer to Anthem. Thank you, but you have ruined my pizza game in a good way!!!

Hands-down, one of the best restaurants in town! I have been there many many times over the last few years and it has never been a disappointment. From the ambience to the service and the incredible food, this restaurant is a winner!!

The service was excellent. The food was good, the pizza was excellent. I had some pasta that I did not care for, I’m just not a lover of cream and butter and that pasta had fettuccine sauce which is not my favorite thing… Everything else was great that iced tea was excellent

We enjoyed a lovely meal with friends! The gnocchi Gorgonzola and Bruschetta are amazing! Noah is a fabulous waiter too!

The weather was warm and potential for a monsoon so we ate indoors. Not as relaxing as their large patio, but the service as was great as usual! Off to a great start with calamari and a bottle of super Tuscan. Their pinsa is always delicious and the Pizzicata version doesn't disappoint. The very generous portions of Bolognese were stellar and will be enjoyed again for lunch tomorrow. Capped off a stellar meal with scoops of gelato - the raspberry and chocolate chip were the perfect way to end the evening. Will keep returning!
