Pizzeria Delfina is a pizzeria that combines the pizza culture of Naples, Italy with that of modern New York City. Neapolitan pizza is a very specific type of pizza, as is that of New York City. By combining the best elements of both, Pizzeria Delfina has created a style of pizza that is all its own. James Beard Award winners Annie and Craig Stall created this restaurant as a way to fuse their two favorite locales and flavors.Pizzeria Delfina's pizza recipes include both classic recipes and new interpretations. There is the traditional panna pizza with tomato sauce, cream, basil and shaved parmesan as well as the clam pie with cherrystones, oregano, tomato, pecorino romano and hot peppers.

Not just for pizza! The eggplant parm was excellent, as was the Pomodoro pasta...fresh & well sauced. 1 meatball for 3 of us to taste and it was good, too!

My favorite pizza place in SF and maybe the world. Great appetizers, too. The brussel sprouts cacio e Pepe were to die for! I miss the chalkboard and the line out the door before they took reservations :-) It was part of the fun.

We are frequent flyers and go almost once a week ! Staff is great and tries hard !! Food is delicious ! Pricey but yummy!

Food was really bad! Very bland! Service was very poor! We were on table 8! Server’s name was not stated on the bill. It says “dinner s” We ordered a $60 wine with our dinner and our server just simply left the wine on our table without serving it to us. Is that a common practice now at your restaurant ? We always order wine when we dine out and it’s always pour it for us . We asked for extra glass of water and we had to remind him 3 times! We also asked for extra wine glass and we had to remind him 2 times. He never returned and never asked if we needed anything. It was not a busy night. It was really service and the food was bad as well. You need to talk to this server. I did not tip him good because of the poor service. It was a really bad experience.

Fantastic food, service, and the new design of the restaurant is fabulous. Really enjoyed the prefixed meal for restaurant week!

Excellent food and service. Consistently top notch after so many years. Being in SF the area has downsides for public nuisances and noise, but overall calm and manageable. Love this place and definitely will go again.

I have been savoring Delfina’s tasty Italian cooking since they first opened 20?Or more years ago on 18th St. What I really appreciate about this gem is their consistency of proving good tasty food with professional but warm services always. We have moved to S Calif but always try to enjoy a meal at Delfina when I am in the Bay Area. Congratulations to Delfina🥂
