I have eaten a lot of Margherita pizzas, including in Italy, and this is the best I’ve had! This is the second time we have eaten at Pizzeria Bianco and I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but second time was every bit as good. My husband ordered the Wise Guy on both visits and said his was the best pizza he’s ever had as well. If I lived in LA I would go here all the time, now it will be a favorite every time we visit. Love the restaurant environment too.

The pizza was amazing and delicious. If it were based on the food alone, I would have given this place five stars. However, our experience was less than ideal because the service was awful. I never leave bad reviews but the service was just that bad. We nearly were seated after a group who didn’t have reservations and we had to step in. We had to call for our waiter every single time. Our pizza came 20 minutes after we had finished the appetizer, we had to ask multiple people where our drinks were, and everyone was busy cleaning and it was hard to get anyone’s attention. I made a reservation for 3:30 pm not realizing the restaurant closes at 4pm. Had I known that, I would have booked earlier because it was clear they were rushing to close up. I want to note that they have reservation slots for 3:45 pm. I don’t think they should have reservations that late if they don’t want to have people coming in after 3 pm. The manager seemed stressed and I could see she was picking up the slack for the other wait staff as she was the only one paying attention to the other customers. Again, the pizza was delicious and lived up to the hype. I never thought pistachios on a pizza would be so tasty, but it was. The squash appetizer was also flavorful and unexpected. Overall, the food was great, but the service was terrible.

First time at Pizzeria Bianco so had to try the margherita. The sauce was so flavorful despite not being particularly zesty as I tend to like pizza sauce. Crust held up and was a perfect thickness, that being not thick but still holding up the pie. Restrained mozzarella but the right amount per slice. Would recommend. I was disappointed in the ambience. The seating was hard and the acoustics made it hard to hear my companion. Would’ve liked a warmer, more inviting vibe.

We showed up for our reservation and checked in with the host. They asked us to sit outside on a bench while they put a table together. We saw many open tables and noticed other people getting sat before us, so we check back in after ten minutes of waiting and it was as if they didn’t remember us. It was super awkward. We sat at a table and they told us they were understaffed which I can understand, but the whole experience was pretty rough. The server hardly checked in on us, the food was either too salty or under salted. The olive oil cake was great though. Overall, pretty disappointed, but I can understand if a restaurant is having an off night.
