The service was quite poor, no wonder a place that used to be packed is now half empty. The food was great though

We had pizza and roast chicken. The food itself was lovely. The space nice but a bit noisy with a large table sitting next to us. Service was terrible. Curt, lacking attentiveness, distracted, plates getting thrown down in front of us. We thought we might have offended someone!

Have dined here a few years ago and the food then was pretty mediocre. However I wonder if there has been a change at all, the pizzas were fresh and so packed full of flavour. There was only one server and maybe a manager? But they managed to attend everyone in a timely and efficient manner. Really recommend if you need a sure thing

Being Neapolitan myself, I can’t say I enjoyed their pizza, it was average. I was definitely expecting more, considering it’s a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. We were a party of five, and we were all disappointed. The service was also very average. The location is amazing, but if they had invested some of that money in a good pizzaiolo, it would have been much better. I’ve been living in London for several years, and there are definitely better places to eat pizza.

Overall a poor experience. The music was so loud we couldn’t have a proper conversation and the food was average at best. The only vegan option on the menu was La Vegana which was really small and boring. The staff however were very nice and friendly.

We’ve been to Pizza East a few times now but tonight the food was noticeably average. The margherita pizzas that the kids ate were just basically pizza dough caked in loads of tomato sauce and tasted horrible. The adult pizzas were very small too. I asked for a gin and tonic and it was brought to the table in a tumbler glass. When I asked for a gin glass, I was told ‘we don’t have gin glasses’ which I thought very strange these days! The bill was very high for what we had and we won’t be back.

We had. A very nice meal. We didn't have very high expectations, but last ate here together many years ago before it was a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. We wanted somewhere simple to eat before a train at Liverpool St. Portion size was good. The quality of the food was excellent. We found it to be good value for money and will eat here again
