We're proud to be an award-winning establishment, having received the Top 50 Pizza for 2024 in US.

Pizza Baby East is the full-service Roman Café and Wine Bar, offering a selection of locally sourced mozzarella, antipasto, a rotating special, and our signature 12" Americana-style pizza inspired by the Eternal City. Everything is baked in-house, meticulously sourced, and clean label!

Located in the Elizabeth neighborhood, we serve pizza by the slice in a rectangular hand-held fashion, using our signature housemade focaccia. If you haven't been to Rome, our pizzas are reminiscent of street-style pizza al taglio.

Wow! What a fantastic restaurant! Great vibe, great food and great service. We had the Little Gem salad which was delicious and refreshing and the Ricotta and honey starter was so creative and tasty! A great bottle of Italian wine and the most delicious pizza we have ever had in Charlotte! We can’t wait to come back!

Really really great pizza we got the classic pepperoni and the pesto chicken special and they were both great. The wine was a little expensive and not any cheaper to buy a glass vs. bottle but it is organic wine so I get why. Love how they also sell sourdough and will be back to buy a loaf because the pizza crust was so good. We sat outside and there were a lot of flies so would suggest they buy fly fans for the tables.

We really enjoyed the food here! It was our first time dining at Pizza Baby. We got the olives, Ricotta and Sicily pizzas and it was all delicious. The only thing that wasn’t great was the noise level and the space. It is a little cramped when you eat indoors and the music was loud. However, we enjoyed eating here and we will definitely come here again!

This was our first visit to Pizza baby east. I saw a friend post about it the day before and decided to give it a try. They were three of us, we tried both styles of pizza, both delicious! The gelato was amazing but more than anything the service was top-notch. Our server went above and beyond, the manager came over, definitely made it a really great and fun experience. Had some leftovers this morning and they were delicious.

We arrived and our table was ready. The place is cute but small. We ordered drinks and apps the drink was very cold and refreshing. We had the bacon wrapped dates and bread and butter. Both were awesome, lots of different breads in the bread basket. We ordered the Roman style pizza which is made with a thick fluffy focaccia bread. They use real good thick cheese. I was disappointed they didn’t have more topping choices but the pizza was tasty. We will go back

We had a 730 resy and they were able to seat us a little early (huge win with a toddler!). Unfortunately, our table was outside which had there not been a quick, but heavy, summer storm pass through, would have been perfect. Since inside was full, the entire team worked seamlessly to pivot and move our table to a covered area. The new space didn’t allow a breeze so it was a little humid but, worked great to keep our kiddo contained! The aperol spritz was perfectly balanced and the pizza could rival some that we had in Rome earlier this summer. The only let down was the gelato, it was a little underwhelming compared to the rest of our meal. All in all, the food and service were great and we cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu!
