Service was outstanding. Food was good but our group of five agreed that the garlic level was just too much . It obliterated the taste of the pizza sauce.

The food was delicious. The staff was amazing love the music they’re playing in. The background was perfect for a business evening.

When you’re in Chicago, you should do what Chicagoans do, so I came here to eat some really good pizza. First off, the service was exceptional. Everyone there was friendly, attentive, and had a really good sense of humor. Now this last part has nothing to do with what should normally occur. But when someone came through a door near my table, and the wind, which had picked up over the afternoon, blue so hard that it knocked my wine glass over, spilling wine everywhere, the staff was quick to assist, Very kind and courteous, and we all had a very good laugh. Who knew that a cold front could knock a full glass of Chianti into oblivion. Anyway, what could’ve been embarrassing and awkward and frustrating and annoying, turned out to be no big deal whatsoever. They ended up comping the dinner, which was more than necessary, given that I ended up eating, not only a really good pizza, but an exceptionally good fried calamari appetizer, a ginormous, peanut butter cookie covered in ice cream, chocolate syrup, and whip cream for dessert, and of course, two glasses of Chianti, not including the almost full one that the weather took. Bottom line, this place was worth the effort of walking the two blocks from my hotel to get there, and even though I will have a dry cleaning bill, I feel like I was the big winner tonight.

Nous avons attendu près de 1h30 et sommes partis sans manger. Le restaurant avait pris trop de réservations et ne répondait pas à la demande. Très mauvaise expérience la veille du marathon!

Very bad service. After waiting 2 hours for the food, it arrived incomplete and the pasta had no flavor

It took us 3 hours to get our food. At one point, the waiter didn’t even know if it was coming. Regretted choosing it as the restaurant to get a meal before my marathon.

We had to wait until we could be seated (despite the reservation). It was busier than usual because of the marathon. When we finally ordered, we were told that the food would take 45-60 minutes due to the crowds. When we asked where it was after 60 minutes, it suddenly turned out to be a 2-hour wait. There wasn't even any bread left to eat. Finally left and got dinner at Trader Joe's. We were really looking forward to some good pasta just before the marathon, but it was a big disappointment.

Booked for 5.30pm, wife was running marathon so timing was important. On arrival very busy but they were seating people who had later timings before us. We arrived at 5.20, got seated at 5.35pm. Order taken 5.40 as only needed basic pasta with garlic bread. Waited & waited. Food arrived at 7.02pm. In that time 2 tables ordered but left before food had arrived. A table who had ordered at same time as us had still not received their food when we left. We felt sorry for the waitress as it was not her fault but she was getting the brunt of people's annoyances. If we had known it was such a long wait we would not have sat down and just gone round the corner for take away. It's marathon weekend so guaranteed to be busy so plan for it! It definitely affected the wife's race experience. The manager was wondering around but no apology all she seemed to be doing was squeezing every possible person in. The walk ins were being told to wait where as they should have concentrated on getting the existing guests served promptly. Thankfully the food when it did arrive was very good and ample. Our 2 bowls of pasta could have easily served 3 if not 4. I could recommend based on food but not night before marathon unless you are prepared to book a table at least an hour and half before you actually plan to eat! Typical sports bar atmosphere with loud music and games on tv, not particularly a place you can have a chat across table as you have to raise your voice to be heard. Our waitress was very sweet and handled the situations the best anyone could do but she shouldn't have been put in that situation.
