By far, the Best Restaurant in Middletown DE. Food was excellent, service was great, and interior is the best I have seen in Delaware.

The ambiance, food and service were great. Food was very well seasoned. Excited to have a new dining experience in Middletown.

Our party of four arrived at 5:15 pm and were promptly seated upstairs. The vibe was very festive. Dinner started with some very nice and refreshing tomato basil shots with crostini. I ordered White Sangria from the fully-stocked bar. Appetizers included Diver Scallops, Beet Salad, Seafood Bisque, Moroccan Shrimp. Food came quickly. Table loved the shrimp. The scallops were nice and fresh. The truffle parsnip puree that accompanies the salmon, beef and scallops- Amazing!! The Blue Fig flatbread was also a hit. The beet salad was great with both red & golden beets. The seafood bisque was incredibly smooth and velvety. Entrees included salmon, seafood linguine, lamb chops and beef burgundy. All the entrees were delicious. Sara provided impeccable service to our table. The early Saturday evening atmosphere was great, music playlist perfect. Nice to have an upscale spot nearby and not have to drive to Wilmington or Glen Mills. We look forward to dining again. Note: Pithari requires $25/per person to be charged to a credit card to cover no shows or late cancellations. If you don’t want a flat 3% surcharge added to your bill use cash instead of a credit card.

Service was great, food was delicious and matched the ambiance. Music was a little too loud. Will be returning!!!!

Served me raw Santorini chicken. Manager said they are supposed to serve chicken thighs pink. No chicken is to be served pink. Menu stated item was supposed to be chicken breasts. $24 for chicken thighs? No return visits in my future.

Our first visit was a wonderful experience. Service was attentive and pleasant, food was delicious, the restaurant was lovely. We shared appetizers and had individual entrees, food was plentiful and flavorful. We will be back!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice date night meal at Pithari. We had the Burrata appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. The only thing we wanted was more of the toasted bread! I had the Blackberry Mojito cocktail and it was very refreshing, and my husband had a Manhattan that he was very happy with. For dinner, I had the Branzino Al Forno, and it melted in my mouth! The flavors were on point and the choice of vegetables accompanying the sea bass were perfect. I was only able to finish half of it, so I'm looking forward to enjoying the other half later. My husband had the Mediterraneo Salmon and he was very pleased with the portions and accompanying vegetables, and had to bring some home for later, as well! With dinner, we both had the Prisoner Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon, which was very well-rounded and went well with our meals. The updated atmosphere in the former bank location is very inviting and cozy, and we look forward to returning for another meal and possibly a happy hour with friends!

This was the first time visiting Pithari and it will not be the last. Everything was wonderful, the service, ambiance, decorations, and especially the food. We went for lunch but some of us had dinner items, everyone was more than satisfied with their orders. We can’t wait to go back for brunch!
