We're bringing simple, straightforward, bistro food to your local neighbourhood. Featured in the Waitrose & Partners’ 2020 Good Food Guide.

Pinion opened in 2018 on Eccleston Street in Prescot Town Centre. Stop by after shopping or join us for some pre theatre evening dining - we're just a minute walk from the brand new Shakespeare North Playhouse.

Part of Elite Bistros from Gary Usher and the team behind Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish & Kala. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Food was amazing 😊 cannot fault anything other than the desert baked cheesecake 🤷‍♀️ was served in a bowl, tasted nice but resembled custard in texture and there was very little of it, maybe four spoonfuls 😥 Service was excellent at the beginning of the meal, very attentive, but then our waiter James finished his shift and it wasn't as good from then on 😥 Drinks are expensive, £12 for a cocktail seasonal champagne!! The bill at the end of the meal wasn't incorrect, discount for pre-theatre menu had not been included 🤷‍♀️ and a service charge of over £37 had been included, almost £5 per person!! It was my birthday, restaurant were ware of this and I was informed I could take a birthday cake but couldn't eat it on the premises. I advised before arriving that I wouldn't be bringing a cake but would like a candle or something to mark the occasion, nothing happened!! In the end I forgot I was out to celebrate my birthday 😥 Based on the food alone I would return but unfortunately the other disappointments have made me feel like I wouldn't 😥

Absolutely love this place and would return and recommend to everyone. The food is great, prices good. What makes this place special is the service. The waiter is really funny and friendly. He deserves som kind of staff award!

Always a lovely meal at Pinion and a fantastic service! James and Emily are great hosts, really friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful and drinks were lovely. Thank you ❤️

8pm booking on a Saturday night for 4 people. The restaurant had only 1 portion of fish and chips left and 1 burger bun. It has a limited menu to begin with and half the main course menu is dedicated to burgers! This left our party with having to “make do” with what ever was left. And then when it came to dessert there was only 1 crème brûlée. Seems to be a common theme for this restaurant! The place was also very cold so my husband ended up sitting with his coat on. Poor experience so we won’t be returning

Food was great , it is a small menu and one thing was off the menu the turkey which was disappointing. Would definitely visit again

Excellent. Thank you to all the team for another fabulous New Year’s Eve dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the food was amazing, piping hot and delicious, plus excellent selection of cocktails, wines and other drinks available and the service was fab too. See you all very soon. xx

This was only our second or third time we've eaten out on Christmas Day...one was in Orlando, USA but unfortunately not very good. The last one was at The Boxwood in London in 2005 - one of Gordon Ramsey's Restaurants and absolutely wonderful. The meal in Pinion was approaching that of The Boxwood - very, very good. Every single one of the Staff, from Chefs to 'Servants' was first Class with not a single mistake all evening - outstanding considering it was understandably sold out and very busy. This Staff were all young, but very professional and efficient indicating excellent training. The standard of the food was consistantly excellent and the time between each course was perfect. So it's congratulations and thanks all round to each and every one including the 'owners' . I'm sure we've eaten with Open Table before in the Freedom Tower in New York, and that was exquisite as well. Four very satisfied and happy Customers.
