Pinion opened in 2018 on Eccleston Street in Prescot Town Centre. Stop by after shopping or join us for some pre theatre evening dining - we're just a minute walk from the brand new Shakespeare North Playhouse.

Part of Elite Bistros from Gary Usher and the team behind Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish & Kala. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Food was nice but, overall, we were disappointed with the new menu which is essentially glorified pub food.

Great friendly service. Improved menu to suit the area but just a little too burger focused. Otherwise the food is to a high standard and service was great.

As always, a lovely lunch at Pinion! Top quality service from James. Always makes us feel welcome and provides the best service. The food was perfect too. Had the half per peri chicken which was cooked to perfection and the chicken burger. Love it in Pinion. Our favourite local restaurant!

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, nice good and will come again next time we go to the Shakespeare North Playhouse which is very close to Pinion

Very disappointed with poor menu choice.and price of what was on offer. Before booking I had checked out website because my wife is a Coeliac and wanted to make sure gluten free options were avaiined at Pinionnlable It seemed to have an extensive menu.However when we came to order we were told that website menu was out of date at we were handed their stranded menu marked up with glutenfree options. Basically the choice was chicken, steak, fishing chips and burgers. We had dined at Pinion in the past on a number of occasions and found menu coice to be excellent. It looked like other people had been put off as well because there were only one or two other tables taken, whereas in the past it was difficult to book a table. The staff were helpful and attentive.We will not be visiting there again unless changes are made

Another lovely meal at Pinion ! I had the oyster mushrooms to start and the scouse pie with the gorgeous beetroot ketchup ( you should bottle it and sell ) my partner had the calamari and fish & chips . Service was wonderful as usual . Really lovely place to visit and good value, we had the pre theatre meal .

Great service by helpful staff. Excellent Italian wine was served in beautiful tall wine glasses. Clean restaurant with high quality glassware, cutlery and crockery. We had 3 courses and enjoyed all of the food. The food was well seasoned and the portions were decent sizes. Desserts were very good; especially the crème brûlée which was the highlight.

Food was excellent and prompt, service friendly and helpful. Maybe music was a little loud but sure if we had asked they would have turned it down (though the playlist was very good!). Prices very reasonable given the very good quality of food.

Booked for pre-theatre menu £21 for 2 courses. Quite a limited choice, however we did note that choosing from the a la carte wasn't much more expensive and a wider choice. My food was very tasty, well presented and nice and hot. I was overcharged for my wine which was amended when flagged Beware of added service charge too.

Pinion is always our goto place to eat. Whether for a splendid tasty meal or a filling breakfast. The food is top class James is a great host/manager. Always a great vibe.
