Pinion opened in 2018 on Eccleston Street in Prescot Town Centre. Stop by after shopping or join us for some pre theatre evening dining - we're just a minute walk from the brand new Shakespeare North Playhouse.

Whenever I go to Pinion I am really impressed by the quality of service. James is an excellent host, attentive and warm but never intrusive. The menu is wide and varied meaning you can spend a lot or a little but always experience very good food. The wine menu is also excellent - as we were unsure which wine to order, James gave us two samples to taste. This place really is a gem!

We have been a quite few times on a Sunday for the 3 course menu so was a little disappointed when we arrived to find the menu had changed and this isn't available any more, even though it was still advertised on the website. Menu is quite varied and mix and matchy for a Sunday, and only beef or chicken available as a roast. Even though it wasn't busy it was very loud as lots of children with families taking advantage of the kids each free which is now in place. Nice meal but no where near as enjoyable as before in both the meal and the ambience. Bring back the 3 course Sunday lunch special and I'm sure you would be full to the brim again.

Food was really good and they were really accommodating to amendments to the food. The staff were absolutely fantastic really friendly and welcoming. Abi was so nice so big thank you to her

Waiter was lovely, food tasted great and nice portion, nice space between tables so didn’t feel cramped, airy and light and nice decor. Will definitely return and try a brekky or roast dinner. Even better if…some cooked veg with my scouse pie and chips x

One of the best restaurant roast dinners I have had. Restaurant was busy but the service was spot on too. Definitely recommend.

We had the pre theatre meal, great value for delicious food ! Friendly service and good selection of food & drinks . The oyster mushroom starter is tasty , the haddock & chips cooked to perfection and the scouse pie, my personal favourite never fails to meet expectations. Definitely recommend this lovely place to eat

As always, James was the most entertaining, amusing, and helpful of hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for him (including mixing a great dry martini). On this occadsion, the standard menu was supplennted by three specials (one for each course), all of which we tried and were excellent. It was great to see the banana cake return to the menu: this should be a permanent addition.

Can’t recommend this place enough! We visited after a trip to the safari park with our 10 month old, the restaurant was quiet (I have no idea why!) but we were quite early for a Saturday. The restaurant is gorgeous inside, we loved the vibe it gave off. We were served by two lovely ladies who were very attentive, we didn’t have to ask for anything they just knew exactly what we would need, and they were great with our little girl too - the best service I’ve had in a very long time! All of our food was tasty & very reasonably priced, but the Scouse pie - delicious! Had to share with my husband and he said it was the best pie he’s ever had! We’re not local but we would definitely return again! Thank you all x
