Pine Creek Cookhouse is located at the base of stunning Elk Mountains in Aspen. The only thing as fantastic as the views is the gourmet food served at lunch and dinner. The summer menu and a winter menu each reflect the cuisine that matches the season.

The summer dinner menu at Pine Creek Cookhouse includes a number of wild game options including an elk, buffalo, as well as trout, colorado bass, and vegan options. This is a great time to enjoy smoked trout on the patio and other fresh flavors.

The view was great. Give additional time when driving up. You will want to stop and take pictures. Our food was delicious. We had the trout and elk stroganoff. Skip the dessert.

Pine Creek never disappoints. We rode bikes up there for a 11:30 lunch reservation. We were seated right away and got a nice table by the window. We ordered trout dip as always and it was as good as ever. We had Caesar salad, very unique and delicious, a steak sandwich, elk bratwurst and elk stroganoff. Everyone was happy with their meal. The service is friendly, efficient but not rushed. I look forward to our next visit.

The food and service were HORRIBLE. The setting and ambiance is nice but the food is trash. Save yourself $300 and skip this place.

A wonderful "go to" place with the best of the best ! Our table for 7 at the window to the world of fall beauty in the mountains was PERFECT !! Pine Creek Cookhouse is high on our list of the superb. Don't miss out .... MJW

The most beautiful view!! Cozy. Good food choices. Surprisingly was the best value for our money while spending a week in Aspen. You can drive,hike or ride a horse to the property. Unique!
