The Pillow Cafe is the perfect dining option before or after a show at Jacob's Pillow! Dine al-fresco under our tent on the beautiful and historic grounds, which rest on the ancestral homelands of the Muh-he-con-ne-ok or Mohican people. Reservations start in May and are strongly encouraged.

Executive Chef Stephen Will uses the finest, locally sourced ingredients to cultivate a delicious menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Enjoy the audience-favorite chilled lobster roll, or the cooked-to-order filet mignon, or a hearty Charcuterie spread! Take delight in choosing a libation, be it wine, beer, cocktails or mocktails! Food is average. Servers, as everywhere these days, do not have time to do a great job. The a.bience - eating under a huge tent at Jacob's Pillow, is very special.

Beet salad and wild mushroom fettuccine were excellent. Our server, Nae Mae, was friendly and efficient and charming.

Lovely venue before dance shows. Menu slightly pricey and service somewhat too informal, inattentive for the price, but nice experience overall.

The staff were not well trained . Our waitress seemed rather disinterested and when the food came to the table my salad was dropped in front of me with a thud. The salad was $17 + an additional $12 to add a small bit of chicken breast on top. The portion was remarkably small given the cost. I can't imagine dining there again

Food was good and nice atmosphere. Pacing of meal could use improvement. Main courses brought while we were still finishing appetizers. We understand they atre trying to serve meals so diners can go to show but a little more spacing would be better.

For lunch the atmosphere is wonderful but the lunch menu is extremely limited to basically salads, sandwiches and focaccia breads!! I tried to order a salad with a piece of salmon on it but they did not have anymore and the restaurant was not crowded!!

It’s a lovely setting at the Pillow, but the quality of the food is very poor. My husband’s steak was impossible to cut not to mention eat. Gristle throughout- just a very poor quality steak for $52. The rest of the food was just okay. Eat elsewhere, but enjoy the performances which are always outstanding.
