Great spot for brunch. A bit under staffed for Canada Day but they brought in extra staff. Food was excellent.

First time at Pigeon Cafe, went there for brunch & the food was delicious, the ambiance is so chill and cozy. I recommend getting the blueberry pancakes! Service was a little slow, however it was a Saturday morning and it was busy. Make reservations!

Overall experience is okay. My party and I are from out of town and fortunate enough our hotel was right across from Pigeon. We went one morning and were ignored when we arrived at the doors then rejected and informed that we would need to make a reservation to eat there or wait 45 minutes while the restaurant was completely empty. So turn around the next day with a reservation and we finally got in. Overall food was okay. The Salmon Avo Toast is good and would suggest it. But the service is still slower when you are seated. If you want a quick breakfast, I would not recommend going.

Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was my third time there and the service and food is always top notch. Thank you to the greeters and servers as well who take the time to ensure we continue to have a lovely experience.

Our second time here. First reaction is that the noise levels were out of sight!!! Loud, heavy music that one would associate with a dance club, not a fine dining restaurant! Service was very slow! Saving grace was a meal that pleased! The vegan main course was tasty, but very small (more of an appetizer size). The filet tenderloin was very nice and cooked exactly as requested. A side of roasted asparagus was perfect. Would love to come back for the food and cute decor……. But not if we have to put up with the racket!!

Ordered the steak for me and the burger for my child to be well done. Came medium rare. Never said a word we ate around it because we had a play to go to. I asked for the bill and I asked the server if she noted well done. She showed me her device which said well done for both. I said it was a shame that the chef cooked the meat the way they wanted and not what was ordered. It’s a lot of money to pay for something if the chef has an ego and can’t listen to requests. The server came back and told me she informed the chef who stated that steak always looks rare in this lighting. I told the server I don’t appreciate being gaslit and pondered what kind of person would gaslight a patron and make such a narcissistic comment. The server smiled awkwardly and I told her not to worry this didn’t reflect on her and that I did not want to speak to the chef because I was not going to permit someone to gaslight me to my face or there would be a scene made. Extremely disappointed in how the chef - who is part owner - decided to play this out. Definitely won’t be back and will definitely tell anyone I can so they don’t light $150 on fire for nothing.

A very nice place to go to! The place is very well designed and they have very delightful food!! Not one of my favourite restaurants I’ve been to but it definitely is not one to not appreciate!

Service was slow and sloppy. Servers had no idea how to deal with special requests. Chicken was overcooked to the point of completely dry Never again.
