Depuis sa création en 1999, le Pierpont's at Union Station a élaboré des plats et fourni un service aussi mémorables que son cadre historique. Tirant son nom du chemin de fer du notable J.P. (Pierpont) Morgan, le Pierpont's sert des steaks de qualité parfaitement maturés et des fruits de mer frais du jour. Pour accompagner les délices culinaires, le restaurant propose une vaste carte des vins comprenant des bouteilles provenant du monde entier. L'établissement possède également un superbe bar à deux étages équipé d'une échelle de bibliothèque coulissante. Les salles à manger privées, situées dans la cave à vin, et la mezzanine du Pierpont donnant sur le hall spacieux, constituent un cadre plus intime pour les groupes de six à soixante personnes. Suzanne our server was amazing. The salmon, pork chop and Rossetto was very good and we highly recommend. If you are lucky enough to sit in Suzanne’s section - you will have a phenomenal dining experience !!

Beautiful restaurant in historic Union Station in KC. Waiter was excellent. Drinks, appetizers and sides were great! Steaks not so much. One filet was so tough it was hard to get the fork into it. The other was almost the right temperature but flavor was bland. No seasoning to speak of.

I only gave 3 stars on the service because I specifically asked for a Cabernet in the $50 range, and he brought us a $75 bottle We would have indulged in another bottle had he not done that. I was treating my boyfriend and would have had a completely different experience if our waiter had respected my ask. The overall service was excellent, but it put a damper on our experience. Possibly a misunderstanding, but felt taken advantage of. I still left 20% but usually leave more, as I am a local and in the service industry

Wonderful experience Namira is the perfect server for us and we enjoy her so much we request her every time she is friendly interested and efficient that along with Michaels assistance with wine selection (which is always rhe perfect pairing and suggestion) makes the service personalized and exceptional this is our favorite place to come for happy hour, have dinner, and bring friends Great Job

The food was very good, and our young woman who waited our table was delightful, knowledgeable and fun, but professional. The place was crowded and very lively, however we were still able to enjoy conversation without screaming at each other. The one negative however was the lack of creativity in the plate presentation, it was just my pork chop, and mashed potatoes, no color, and it was served on a very white plate. I thought a little more finesse could have gone a long ways to adding to the tasty meal.

We went to Pierponts to celebrate a birthday. We have always enjoyed dining here and tonight was no different. Ryan was our server and he excelled at providing suggestions for each course. I had a wedge salad and my wife enjoyed the blue crab chowder. Both appetizers were excellent. We both enjoyed the 5oz filet but at different temperatures and add ons. If you like whiskey please try the whiskey onion jam on a steak! It was the perfect match. Again the credit goes to Ryan for a home run suggestion. The night was completed with an amazing pumpkin crème brûlée. The flavor and texture were both sublime!

From the moment we checked in - and we were early, we were greeted, and taken to our table. We were the first in the room for the evening. Our waiter greeted us, and quickly gave us a cocktail menu, and full menus. I explained that I had not eaten lunch and was famished. He literally suggested a great lemondrop cocktail to take off the edge, after serving some waters, I ordered his suggestion and was completely amazed. it was great! and I ordered the cheese and charcuterie board to start. Our guests arrived and they ordered a cocktail and he suggested that he go over the menu with us. I had the Special of the House which is a filet, covered in Blue Cheese and Figs. I also had a great small ceasar salad, and the house soup which is a corn and crab bisque. SO GOOD! Our entrees came on time, after we had finished our soup, salad and cheese board, I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and it was perfect. He suggested a dessert and we were too full. So happy that we continue to go to this Kansas City legendary memory - we will be back again.

The steaks were amazing as always. This was our first time trying the bison steak and it was to die for. You always enjoy the Oscar crab topping on the steaks. Special shout out to our server, Mira, whose excellent service was as much a part of this five star rating as the food. Great cocktails too.
