Depuis sa création en 1999, le Pierpont's at Union Station a élaboré des plats et fourni un service aussi mémorables que son cadre historique. Tirant son nom du chemin de fer du notable J.P. (Pierpont) Morgan, le Pierpont's sert des steaks de qualité parfaitement maturés et des fruits de mer frais du jour. Pour accompagner les délices culinaires, le restaurant propose une vaste carte des vins comprenant des bouteilles provenant du monde entier. L'établissement possède également un superbe bar à deux étages équipé d'une échelle de bibliothèque coulissante. Les salles à manger privées, situées dans la cave à vin, et la mezzanine du Pierpont donnant sur le hall spacieux, constituent un cadre plus intime pour les groupes de six à soixante personnes. The service at Pierpont's is always exceptional. We celebrate special occasions here and are never dissapointed. The special touches and beautiful architecture make for a super special meal. The food is more on the traditional side, but with enough interesting touches that it still feels special.

We had an excellent server - Allison. She was very professional; great attention to detail. She gave perfect recommendations. The food was amazing. The ambiance was perfect to visit with our dear friends. Looking forward to our next visit.

We love dining at Pierpont when we visit KC! Our waiter was outstanding! We loved visit with him. He has worked there for 24 years!! The KC strip was perfection!

Went out for a birthday dinner. Reservations were at 6:45... Got our food sometime after 8:15. "Behind on tickets". We had a trainee server plus her trainer and they did great. I had a couple of cocktails, one was watered down, the second was good. My husband also had 2 cocktails, both were good (I tried them). Food was good, steaks cooked to perfection. I ordered sides of mushroom and asparagus, and literally got only 4 small stalks of asparagus. Mushroom side was a good size to share. Steak was Oscar-style. Plenty of hollandaise, very minimal crab meat. To top it off, we were seated next to a family with a man whose voice could be distinctly heard above the noise and just wouldn't stop talking. This isn't anyone's fault, but added to overall annoyances of the evening. So, overall, our servers were great, food tasted good but serving sizes were spotty and the kitchen was way behind, drinks were ok depending on what you ordered (should have started with an old-fashioned..), and the atmosphere was filled by obnoxious behavior next to us. I would come again, but maybe on a weeknight or an earlier reservation time, and ask to be seated in a more intimate environment.

A special birthday for my wife. Our first time here and it was as wonderful. The Waze GPS app brought us to the back side of union station so be careful. If you can’t see the front of the station you’re in the wrong place

Was my "Go To" Favorite restaurant in KC for special occasions , had co events etc there .. will be changing to new Go To. Took forever to get food , service was OK , nothing amazing , and food was cold when we got it

The venue is memorable and it's being in Union Station is a plus. I was there for a lunch and the menu was pretty limited. I had the Philly Steak sandwich with fries. The portions were huge but my sandwich was just OK, nothing spectacular. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. The evening menu is much more extensive, however. We made reservations, but the restaurant was not at all crowded which was nice and quiet.

It was a great experience. The oysters were our favorite. I loved that it was in a train station. The service was excellent.

We had a splendid meal! Loved the beautiful high-ceilings in the bar, loved the 20-ft tall back bar with library ladder. I enjoyed the flavorful Pierpont Strip, perfectly seared, medium rare, texture of butter, topped with blue cheese and brandied figs, my friend had two sides: Caesar salad and mushrooms. The service was top-notch, cordial, helpful, thoughtful. First rate, all around!

From the moment we arrived service was outstanding. Cocktails at the bar - bartender was efficient and helpful with bourbon selection. At our table Adam was attentive and added the right amount of colorful conversation. And the food never disappoints.
