Our reservation was at 6:30PM but we arrived at the resort at about 4PM and were very hungry. Then as we learned about the 5PM Seafood Extravaganza we went to the restaurant early. All of the buffet offering were very tasty; however, salmon was the only fish and there was no fried shrimp, at $60 per adult we felt the selections should have been a bit more. The hostess for the buffet breakfast Mrs. Roberta was very professional and seated us at a table with a smile. Our server Mrs. Ruby was/is the gold standard for service. She greeted us with a very kind word. Mrs. Ruby was very courteous, professional, and efficient. We engaged her in some conversation and learned that she has worked at the Piedmont Restaurant for 45 years starting around 1979. The loyalty, dedication, and joy of how she provides service is outstanding.

he restaurant had VERY few service staff available....and everyone seemed to be herded toward the $45 buffet. We waited for everything. Those of us who ate the bugffet were on desserts before the two who ordered off the menu were served. Food really was not that good.

Our server I believe was Shae and she was great. For the money the quality of the food was lacking. I believe that more options should have been available for the price. I should have ordered from the menu and not ate the all you could eat bar. I would suggest more options so people feel as if they get what they pay for.

My daughter and I stayed at the Gallaway Lodge for a little getaway and had a great meal at Piedmont Dining Room. Loved the chicken and waffles. There was a very large conference group in the restaurant that night and it didn't impact service or food output at all.

It was fantastic and team was great! We wanted to come and enjoy buffet and see where private doing room for an event we will be hosting in October 2024. My group totally enjoyed everything and the bride to be thoroughly enjoyed. Great team! Looking forward now to our event. Thanks!

We really enjoyed eating dinner at Piedmont Dining Room the meal was delicious. We are definitely going back and staying at Callaway Gardens. We will be eating here again. The service was stupendous the food was delicious and dessert was amazing.

On my first wedding anniversary with my wife, we placed our order at about 6:30, and we left without receiving our food at 7:50. The server took 20 minutes to bring me a coke, and she only checked on us one time after she took our order. I’m a bartender-server and know there are things people can do and offer to deescalate situations if a kitchen is having a meltdown. We were offered nothing. This is literally the first time I have walked out on a dining experience.
