Pied à Terre is one of London’s longest standing Michelin restaurants, celebrating its 30th year in 2021. Offering optional Tasting Menus including vegetarian and vegan, lunch menu and full wine list.

With its tasteful cracked-glass feature, and cosily formal decor, this is a perfect setting for têtes-à-têtes, business-related or otherwise. Pied à Terre radiates both style and approachability.

The exceptional gourmet food is meticulously prepared with heart and passion by Head Chef Asimakis Chaniotis using ingredients sourced directly from small, independent suppliers who live and breathe quality.

Apart from the bargain set lunch (reportedly one of the best value Michelin star lunches in London), prices are reassuringly top-end, but there’s ample value in a book-sized wine list, with “incredibly helpful” sommeliers.

We celebrated our anniversary here and I could not possibly think of any way it could have been more wonderful. The food was an exquisite experience and the service was spot on while being warm and welcoming.

We dined here on a Saturday lunchtime to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We chose the 8 course tasting menu with the Discovery flight of wines. Everything about the experience was superb. The food was delicious and the accompanying wine explain well. I enjoy dining at this restaurant as it feels intimate and relaxed but also very special

Booked for my partners birthday. It was absolutely amazing and the team did a fantastic job. We did the 10 course tasting menu and it was just delicious. Each dish was beautifully designed in terms of taste and visually... the plates were stunning. My favourite was the Quail (the pistachio sauce was to die for!!). My partners favourite was the scallop and we both did love the duck too. Chef Phil Kearsey's sauces were incredible - we wanted to lick them off our plates!!! The sommelier (Ciarán) suggested a sparkling English rose (Hundred Hills)... which was exactly to our taste... lovely and crisp a bit of acidity to cut through the rich menu! Experience wise: Originally wanted to sit at the Chefs Table but it wasn't available that evening. Spoke to the lovely Ciara who arranged for Chef Phil Kearsey to come to our table AND we went to the kitchen post. This was such a unique experience - I couldn't recommend them more!

I just had to leave a review because our experience at Pied à Terre was absolutely exceptional! We were the first to arrive and nearly the last to leave, so that is telling in itself. We happily spending almost five hours in the restaurant—a testament to how much we enjoyed ourselves. Our evening was really made by the Sommelier, Ciarán, who perfectly matched our playful banter and added a fun twist to the wine tasting experience. He challenged us with some lighthearted blind tastings, making the whole process both fun and engaging. The experience was further enhanced when owner and head chef David took the time to visit our table for a quick chat. We were seated at the perfect corner table in the small and cozy restaurant. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor! As for the food and wine, the pairing was impeccable. We opted for the 10-course menu with the standard 7-glass wine accompaniment. The pours were generous, and the pairings were spot on—especially the dessert wine! Each of us had a favorite dish, with the scallop and mushroom ketchup being a standout. While we didn't try the plant-based menu, it was great to see that the restaurant offers a thoughtfully curated option for our vegan friends, whom we plan to bring along next time. We ended our meal with a couple of glasses port - a little treat to finish to a fantastic evening. This was accompanied by a surprise petit fours plate with a happy birthday message! Ciarán also went the extra mile by bringing out a history book to share the story behind the restaurant, and then kindly accepted our invitation to join us for a chat at the table. Given the quality of the experience, the rapport with the staff team, and the fact that Pied à Terre is an independent Michelin-starred restaurant in London, we found it to be WELL worth the price. We'll definitely be back!

We love going to Michelin-starred restaurants. We did a ten-course tasting menu here which lasted about 4 hours. It was a wonderful experience. Pied a Terre was a unique standout in that the service we experienced was simply second to none. It was a more intimate experience than with other restaurants, as we had conversations with those making our food and cocktails. Their passion for their craft was clear and obvious. I particularly appreciate that those following a plant-based diet are taken care of. The vegetarian/vegan menu selections, and non-alcoholic cocktail selections, are simply fantastic, and are exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Finally, when it was time to leave - it was raining outside. Our server saw our hesitation to step into the rain, and without even asking, he ran into the rain to get us a cab. Simply incredible service, this place goes above and beyond.

Great experience. We loved the vegeterian tasting menu and the friendly staff. Very thankful for the “happy birthday” note in one of the dishes to my partner since we were celebrating his birthday. Highly recommended!

Food was delicious with heavy hint of truffle which I absolutely like, in my opinion Pied a Terre is on par with Petrus which is my favourite restaurant in London. Tables are cosy and you can’t fault the ambience neither. Overall we had a wonderful date night.
